I have played Runescape for many years. At first, it was amazingly fun. Killing monsters, workings up all of my trade skills, questing for gold and new items. After a little while, it became bring, and i saw it for what it truly is- one big grind. Althought Runescape can be addicting and very fun to play, all it is essentially is grinding- all the mining, tree cutting, firemaking, fighting. Most of the time you are sitting there waiting for something to happen.
What do you think of Runescape? Do you find it boring because of all the grinding?

I have played Runescape and I found it a little boring as well. I like it but I didn't have much help because most people were stuck up and didn't bother helping someone that was a lower level. I didn't make many friends on there so I found it difficult to play when nobody would help me out. I would like to play it again but I don't think I will.

Honestly runescape has one of the worst graphics ever but I got so into it when I was in highschool you always used to see me training in falador with the white knights which I thought their armor was super cool or when I became a member I used to buy herbs from noobs for like 100gp ea and sell them for like 1k ea in camelot made 55m like that in like 3 weeks:p oh my, I may of just revealed such a money making secret:p

I've been playing Runescape since I was in 6th grade and now I just graduated from college but I still find Runescape exciting. I don't know why I just really love this game. For me, there is so much to do. I just don't get bored with it. The graphics may be not good enough as other popular games out there but I have leaned to love this game more than any other game I've ever played.

Perhaps it's the goals you set for yourself that turned it into grinding. If you make yourself continually do the same thing over & over again for hours on end to get a level ( or whatever goal you've set for yourself ) of course it'll be a grind. If you instead just do random short tasks it won't become as tedious. I usually travel the entire length of the world & train a little on every skill in a night.
