I am planning to get a new laptop this week. Can anyone tell me which one is the best in configuration perspective?

If you want a powerfull laptop, buy an Acer or an Asus with processor i3 or i5,or the very powerfull i7,with RAM memory 3-4 gb, harddisk with 320-500 gb,with dedicated video memory from 512mb to 2gb, with LED LCD or LCD, with baterry from 6 cell to 9 cell, and with screen from 15,6 inches to 17 inchs.
I like nVidia video memory, but ATI are good.

I am by far no expert laptops but I have a gateway and it is working great. So I just thought I would give you my opinion and what I have experience with. Good luck with your new laptop.

I would get a Toshiba or an HP. I know people that have had a really good experience with both Laptop brands. I recommend buying either brand. My fiancee has a Toshiba Satellite. She's had it for about a year and it works great. I personally wouldn't get a NetBook because they don't have a disk drive. I would go with something between 14-16 inches. I feel like that's a good size for a laptop because it's not super small but it's not huge and bulky. I hope you find a good laptop that you're happy with. Good luck!
