Earning Extra Income Online

I have discovered the dark side of doing online surveys...the inability to finish a survey because they claim your phone number is invalid...yet they use it to bombard you with phone calls every hour or being rejected from finishing a paid survey because you don't fit the criteria. Not to mention trying to "win" prizes by completing a "short" survey, only to find yourself still doing surveys to get to that conclusion two hours later. And THEN they tell you that you failed to complete 8 offers and you can't claim your prize. I'm done doing surveys. Has anyone here had at least a modicum of success doing them?

I find their payment rates too high, they ask the same questions over and over and frequently reject you as suitable for that questionnaire after you already answered half its questions.

I do hits on mechanicalturk.com and you can earn several dollars in one day if you can find higher paying hits. Some of them are lower paying but you can do thousands of them in one day as they are simple tasks. :) I hate doing surveys as a rule, but I used to do them often in MT. Only now they are starting to get more like the other survey sites, so I tend to avoid the surveys now.

That is one thing irritating about them as well. How about they just keep a profile file with your age, date of birth and income level so you don't have to keep answering THOSE questions and can just move on—besides, a lot of those questions are the ones that determine whether or not you even qualify for a survey, and so why even offer surveys they know already you won't qualify for? Just a complete waste of time.

I don't like at all when they ask you all these questions and then you are disqualifed. What after all this. That is what I don't like the most.

I've found that it's usually the surveys with the highest pay out price that will drop the participants the most. They really, really don't want to part with their cash.

i have seen the dark side of online surveys within two days itself and left them.after completing so many details, they will inform us that we are not qualified for the surveys.we wont get much money from those sites.it is better to spend time in mylot which help us to earn aswell as learn at the same time.

I don't really like to do online surveys, First, I don't like to easily share my private information. And also, like ollenz said above, if a survey related to my mobile phone, they can rob my phone credit without my concern.. (well, this kind of survey is really common on sharecash, that's why I never download anything from sharecash, lol). But, I have many friends who got their payment from an online survey without any big problem. The site's name is ipanelonline. Well, sometimes there's few -even none- surveys in a month, but if you already reach your minimum payout, you will get your money. And also, they won't tricked you so you can't reach the minimum payout. So far, they're really honest, and as a proof, several of my friends had been paid. Anyway, before you join any survey sites, have you already checked http://www.surveypolice.com/ ? People said they will give you great review and insight before you join any survey sites . Not all online surveys are scams, but most of them, yes, it is..

I've never found any sites like that except Mechanicalturk.com and even they have switched over to the kind that won't pay out.

Yeah, you just can't make a living, or even pocket change that way, unfortunately.

I am not wasting my time on online survey programs any more. I had joined a number of them, and have taken several surveys. Every time I take a survey, at some point down the road, a message will come up saying I am not qualified. Very disappointing ! So, that's it. I will not take any suyveys any more.

Yeah, I think the not qualified message is the most common denominator in these surveys. I don't know who they are looking for but apparently that person is not of this world. lol.

I subscribed to donkeymails.com before. At first, they will tell you that you will earn like 25 cents per survey. After I answered maybe two or three surveys, they notified me that I will be earning .003$ or something. After knowing that, I cancelled my membership right away. I immediately thought that I was being scammed.

I hear you. I had the very same thought when I joined a survey site and discovered that my $2.00 earnings had become something closer to 50 cents.

That's awful. That's one of the reasons why I don't trust survey sites. I haven't been able to find one that's worth staying on. MyLot is different, though. Yeah, you don't that much but you still earn. Even though it's not much, you're assured that you'll get paid.

I used to do a lot of surveys that I would earn $20 a month just by doing them. I would just give a fake number and my email that I have for spam. Don't want them calling me for some bogus thing. Now I rarely do them since it's very hard to actually finish them. Plus it takes even up to hours just to finish one survey. Worst part is answering the survey for an hour and then you can't finish it cause of the quota. You waste an hour of your time and you didn't get a single penny for it. I rather spend an hour or more on myLot than on survey sites.

Try Ipsos-Isay, Saynation, Toluna, Planet Panel. Check out surveypolice.com for legitimate survey sites. I have had success doing online surveys with the sites I listed. What you did most likely are scams designed at wasting your time.

I never take any survey if I must use cellphone for it, too risky for me (in my country this become a way for them to steal our phone credit). By the way, which site you talking about...?

I'm talking about any survey sites. There are hundreds of them out there. I had to join four of them just to join one. lol.

Nope they don't pay me enough to do any of them, I couldn't do it anymore. There are other sites that you can make extra cash.

I agree. Sites such as this one for example. I found that there was too much hopeful build up and then an extremely stressful non-event that followed. Don't need it.

Surveys are something I simply refuse to do. Sure, when I have done them I make a good amount. But it takes sooooo mmmuuuuucccchhhh tttttiiiimmmeeee and they are just boring and brain draining as ever. Complete waste of time if you ask me.
