Political Time Warp

I wonder if we are actually getting caught up in a political time warp of the 1960s. Think about it. Disgusting protesters, a couple of now pointless wars, skirmishes with the police, cheap drugs, etc. http://www.news.com.au/world/protest-becomes-party-love-in/story-e6frfkyi-1226162599431

In the sixties we could see a bright future ahead of us, apart from the problems of the time. Now, is there ANY future?

The protesters on the whole in the 60s were of a different ilk. Most of them were too stoned to cause too much trouble. It was only places like Kent State were there really were problems. However, this was more of a police problem than a protester problem. The hatred of the police for the protesters got way out of hand. Today's protesters simply want to go on the dole full time. They want all of their debts paid for them and then to have insanely high wages for all jobs. They do not know their history...When wages go up, so do the prices. Every dime gets sucked up...This will not ever change. The majority of the 60s protesters were just making love, getting stoned, and dropping out.
