Paid Advertising sites not working..

Hi mylotters,
I tried paid site that offers advertising and promotion but to no avail it's not working for my websites. I mean the results are unexpected. I wanted to try free advertising sites to cut cost. Do you know free advertising or free promotion site? Any help appreciated
