How to transfer address in my DL?

Hi,
I am in Tamil Nadu,India.
When I was in Bangalore , I took DL with Bangalore address.
Now I want to tranfer the address in my DL. For this I was asked to get the NOC(No objection certificate) from Bangalore RTO.
I am afraid how long will it take to get this certificate and what is the exact procedure.
Kindly help!!!
