it is said that green cucumber have the effect of staying wet, and i have an oily T-zone on may face, so i try to use cucumber to apply on the face. At first, i will cut the cucumber into little pieces, and try to cut it as thin as possible ,which will make the cucumber stick tightly on the face. And then i will put them into the refrigerators, after a while i take it out and start to apply face. when you put the cold cucumber pieces on the face, the feeling is wonderful, especially in the summer, it is so cool. The whole process will last for half hour, the time can not be too long, otherwise the cucumber will suck-back the water from your face.I keep using cucumbers to apply face for one months, and i am satisfied with the result very much. have u ever tried it? or do you have any good ideas for skin care? let's share together.

Hi friend,
I used cucumber and it gives good results. grind it and make a paste and mix with multani mitti and apply as face pack . remove after it dried. you can find much difference. And other cut cucumber into thin round pieces and put on your eyes when ever you feel tired that gives much relief

I've heard of that, but never tried it. I do have a lonely cucumber in the refrigerator, though...
Another thing you can use on your face if it's oily is plain yogurt. Organic is best if you can get it. Wash your face and apply yogurt like you would cream or lotion, leave it on until it dries, then rinse it off.

Hi chendaimi, I like to place thin cucumber slices on my face as it's the most convenient way for me to take care of my face complexion. Further more it's cheaper as well compared to those skin care products. I usually take out the cucumber from and fridge and cut the required amount of slices and do as what you do in the scorching afternoon.
Here the tropical region we live, summer season is not available but almost all the year round the weather is as hot as summer. So if I could I always do my best to apply this great cold slices on my face more often to moisturize my face skin and this would make me feel pretty comfortable in fiery scorches For the convenience there is always cucumber kept in the fridge lol....
Have a nice day and happy posting

Yes, I also read the article about the magical function of the cucumber. However, I have never tried it yet. Perhaps I don't get used to put the vegetable directly on my face. I feel weird to it. In fact having a good rest will make you look better already.

that may help but don't you think it is a bit of hassle, the cucumber couldn't stay fresh all you want it may shrink and wrinkled it.If your problem was your oily skin why not try to wash your face with soap and water every time you feel that you begin to produce oil again. I was once an oil factory producer on my face but when I start to wash my face often it lessened plus adding some powder may help absorbs some oil. I hope this helps.
By the way I used Kojic soap a popular organic chemical that started in japan and now more popular here in the Philippines

but if the times of washing face are too much, which will harm the skin, don't you heard of that?

I do this when it is summer and yes, it's really soothing to the skin.
I use brown sugar instead of commercial scrub to clean my face and it gives me a great effect as well.
I also use egg white and smear it on my face, it helps to avoid wrinkles.
have a good day

Sometimes I use cucumber on my face is very good as moisturizing for your eyes and face, its very fresh and sometimes I use it in masks , they sell them in regular stores or in the pharmacies. After washing your face you can put some cucumber slices all over your face including eyes, put some relaxing music, lie on the bed for 20 minutes that will then put some water on your face , dont rub it, You can do this one or twice a week. ( You may wash your face only twice a day , morning and night time.)

Hey.. I had a good experienced with the cucumber thaing,I only had two nights to try this beauty tip because I had run out of cucumber, just because my brother had a happy time eating those fruits and me had no more left cucumber to be used.. However, the effects were good I could feel that there were changes happened and my face get better than before for just a little span of time. I have a plan to do it again to gain much better results.

I have never tried to put cucumber on my face. Judging from your experience I will never try it either.
I have used a moisterizing daycream for as long as I can remember. My skin is very doft, not greasy, not dry. I don't know if this is because or in spite of using this day cream every day.
