I have been sick now for 10 days. It is not unusual for me to be sick but I just realized what made me sick this time, it was a combination of stress, and getting caught in the rain. Have you ever regretted going out? I regret going out that day in the rain. I spent two and a half hours talking to a stranger that wanted me to write an article for him and then after when I got back home he calls and says never mind it was not a good time to publish his story. I ended up getting sick and I am still sick and no story to boot. Have you ever regretted going out for a any reason? for best answer please explain what the situation was and why you regretted it.

I am so sorry you are ill. I do not usually regret going out, but I do not get ill easily. On the other hand, I have had instances where I was promised work, and gotten up and even traveled only to have the work cancelled. That was more than a little disappointing. I hope you get better soon.

I often regret going out... What a jerk, talking for that long and then backing out - bet he gave you the cold too! No, can't remember any particular situation, but my memory is so bad...

Way back in 1983 , if I had only known I could have said no! Back then I thought once there was a family outing planned , I had no right to say Ni thanks. So I went bowling when I didn't want to and I ruined the night so much afyrward my mom said I could have said no and stayed home.

Hi, I think you will soon become alright as it is you got wet in rain and not so habituated. If you don't feel like go out in such times, just resist to go, that is all. Last week I had an outing for 3 days from office alongwith family. I normally not to prefer come out in so sunny days especially when it is so hot. There were plans to go to sea shore for some games and plays all were enjoyed the sun bath and hot climate for 2-3 hrs. and come back in the after noon and after the lunch rested in the AC room. This made me also cold/cough and body pain. So, I hesitate to go out in the extreme climates like so hot, so cold. But I like to be out in the rains as I enjoy the same. Get well soon. Thank-s

I don;t go out in the hot sun because I get weak and I don;t go out the fall, winter, and spring because I get too sick.

I remember one day when my allergy stuck my face so bad and I didn't realize that my entire face was full of it. We didn't have a good mirror that time so after bath I went straight to work. People watch me and I keep wondering why. And when I finally got work, aw I saw my red face and I look disgusting and that's I realized why people stare at me that bad. I regretted going out that day. I should have stayed home instead. It was so embarrassing and I was stupid to go out without knowing that I look like a horrible man that day.

Thank you for the best response! I am using cortisan cream .10% everyday. I also use a tablet when my allergy is very bad. I found a way not to get sick when you go out on rain. You can take a warm bath after and also drink 2 glasses of water with lime and a little sugar.

Sorry you're sick. Get well soon. As for regretting going out, I don't particularly like going out much, prefer staying home, where I control things.

The weather keeps changing day to day, and even hour to hour some days. This is in some ways a pretty unusual year weather-wise. I have been going out to the park in the evenings for jogging, when the weather is favorable. One evening, with weather fairly good, I took the opportunity to get to the park. Within the hour after I went out, it started raining. That was a disappointment. Very much regretted that I went out !

so sorry rose. well my late hubby and i took a vacation to vegas with a bowling league back in '97. the last day i bowled and forgot to take off my bowling shoes which are slick as you may know. he stopped for gas on the long ride home and i had to go to restroom really bad. jumped out on the oily pavement and went down on my leg and broke it. had to take another week off work and a lot of suffering. so i wish i hadnt bowled with the league that morning. sure wasnt worth it.

Yes I have regretted going out, but you know how good my forgetter is. It's so good I can't remember it. Your immune system is particularly sensitive I think... so sorry you have been sick for so long. Sorry I can't elaborate on my regretting of going out.. I just have no mind to remember right now.
