$35 tablet pc got 1 year replacement warranty!

I'm surprised that the tablet pc launched by india govt which costs 1750rs has 1 year replacement warranty.The company which made it says that the price would have been even cheaper if govt had waived of tax for it. I wonder if other companies are making way too much money from their tablets by pricing it too high?

yeah.. even I was thinking the same that other companies are giving almost 10 times higher than this price.. then how big the margin would be for them..!! Thanks to Government of India for promoting IT such a way.. I wish I can buy this too.. let's see..

I think we should wait and see if the price drops as they say,to 500rs.By that time we will get the one with 1ghz processor for 2000rs i guess,so that other companies can shut their shops here. lol.

The ''SKY'' Tablet of India is very much cheaper compared to the tablet pc of China although it has the same specs as the other.I wish I can have one,but I am not from India.Can I buy one from India online?I want to try it.I wonder also if the language of the tablet pc is english.I am from Philippines.:)

No you can't buy it online unless mass production is started.Now it is available for students only. Also,they say the price will go down to as low as 10$ within 1 year when mass production begins!The processor is what i didnt like which is ust 366mhz ,but they say they are planning to uprade it to 1.2Mhz at a later time.
