The news says that our hometown area is once more flooded. Considering that I have two dogs there and some cats, I am starting to be worried about them. Perhaps no problem with the cats. They always know how to deal with emergency situations because, they are never on leash.
But the dogs? Okay, they have a house which is large enough to accommodate a family with only one child or two. The kennel is large and it is elevated. However, they are on leash and once in a while the caretaker lets them roam around the yard for hours for their daily exercise.
If they cannot roam around the yard for days, the dogs will not be as active as they should be. Will it be just okay?

Davao City hardly gets flooded. The way things are happening now only confirms how damaged the environment already is. My sister says that, it is a good thing that we are here in Manila when the floods strike. It is only this year that the floods are getting to be this much. Never had we ever had flood problems while we were still living there. And to think that it is only a matter of 4 years something since we left the place.

I think we share the same weather. It is also raining almost everyday here. Some parts of the country are also flooded. Luckily my place is not affected. Poor dogs, if nobody unleash them they will be in great problem when the flood come sweeping your place. Hopefully some good souls will come over to your house and save your dogs.

Hi there, zandi.
I have a caretaker there. My cousin. However, the dogs cannot be unleashed the way the weather takes its beating upon the area. If only it is that easy to trace my footsteps I would be there days ago to see the whole setup for myself.
My cousin is one guy who does not take my phone calls. I don't know why. Nor does he answer my texts.
I believe that I will have to talk to my younger brother in order to get some details. When I talked to my sister she just simply confirmed my fears.
