What are the best way to write fast in English Article? I write so slow that it takes me 2 hours or more than 2 hours. It is so embarrassing that I write so slow while some article writer can write fast and finished their projects before deadline. If they write fast in English article, are they still doing the proofread or not? It seems to me that they did not even proofread their work because they are so fast. They can write 5 articles or more than 5 articles and I don't know what their secret. Maybe they have already graduated in English course degree.

Writing fast or writing slowly is different for each individual writer. How fast do you write in your own language and are you always satisfied with the result? It is only natural that writing in a second language is slower than in one's first language. The more you write, the more proficient you get. I write slightly faster in my first language (Dutch), but still very slowly because I like to use the best words and best grammatical constructions. What is your reason that you want to write fast?

Practice makes a man perfect. Keep on writing. Let it take time, gradually you will find one day that your speed has reached to your desired speed. The more you write more capable you become. Your skills gets shaped up.

True. You will not be a good writer overnight. It takes time. You just have to keep honing your talent. You are still young, there is a lot of time for you to practice, practice, practice. Write about anything under the sun. I'm sure after a year or so, you will notice a great improvement not just with your writing time but also your specific skills in writing (how you play on words, how you express yourself, etc.)

I think there are techniques because I wonder it sometimes. I really want to write fast like 15 minutes, but if I focus on writing fast I know I cannot write the subject passionately. It takes me more than 2 hours to write because I do not have a further knowledge of what I am writing. I need to search for doubtful words that include in my article, I need to know the topic clearly in order to create an article about it. Of course, if you are the reader, you really want what you are reading to be informative and truthful, that is what I want my reader to know. I want to be responsible with all the works I created and submitted online. That is my objective, so I am not focusing on time. However, there are times, when the article I passionately made got rejected I am very sensitive with it and the next time I write I will be thinking it is much better that I write fast like them so that I can have this kind of earning, so and so. I know you are thinking that way too. I do not know the best way but I still go to passionate writing and writing for my reader than get paid for speedy writing, although that is good too.

I think to write we need only two things. First we must have deep knowledge of topic on which we are writing. Only link of other article on same topic is not enough. Second thing we must have command on english and good voculabory.

@IntrovertShy, Your predicament is understandable. A few basic facts: 1. Graduating in English is not necessary guarantee for speed writing. 2. By collecting one's thoughts very well before starting to write, the extent of proof reading required may be minimal 3. Concentration is key for better productivity. 4. Deep breathing & basic meditation help in improving concentration and increasing confidence 5. Enjoying the work is better than getting worried about it and putting oneself under constant pressure; things will improve over time I did not do my schooling in English. But by developing keen interest & aptitude, I was able to develop good command over written & spoken English. And when I write, I do minimal proof reading. Enjoy. Cheers.

Wow, you give really good points and advice! I'm a native English speaker (and writer), and even I could use some of these tips. One thing I would add is that you really need to practice writing in English a lot. Think about all of the papers and whatnot that you've written in your native language and then compare it to the amount that you've written in English. There's probably a big difference! I've written dozens and dozens of papers, so by now it comes easily. However, I write extremely slowly in Spanish and Chinese.

I try to proofread while I write, checking for spelling and grammar errors as I go through the article so that I don't have to go back just to do that. Also, I find that it helps to read a lot in your spare time (when you're not writing) so that you get the hang of how other people express their thoughts. The things you read don't have to be heavy articles, just about anything from ingredients to magazine articles will do.

Well, if it's a topic, write your opinion on it. Don't try to agree with everyone else, find your own reasons for liking it.

Writing is not to be hurried. You need to have a clear and procise system of writing. They probably aren't doing a proof read and just trust their writing to be accurate. There is a disc you can get that help a person learn how to type faster. It is called Meavis Beacon Personal Coach.

Actually, there is no best way to write fast an article of any kind. The best thing to do is to take your time with it; thus, doing thorough research and note taking. Then create an outline, write the first draft, do editing, proofreading and polishing. Once all these elements are completed, submit the good draft to a publisher rather it be an online publication or hardcopy periodical.

Speed doesn't just depend on a good control of English; it also depends on how well you know the subject and how focussed you are on the point(s) you want to make. I don't know if it'll help but there's an article on Copyblogger (excellent site, by the way) that talks about a way to write faster - he manages 20 minutes for an article: http://www.copyblogger.com/write-article-fast/

I usually write my articles in about 30 minutes (excluding the editing process). My secret is that before I write, I think about what I want to write about and I imagine how my article would look like (what it should include). After that it's pretty easy to just write whatever comes into your mind.

Indeed, to be professional in English writing is based on special skills and profound abilities which usually acquired from English courses for many years. And it also needs specific training, only in that way can you have a good knowledge of English and can master it. so it is not strange to write fast if you really acquired this kind of language.

Yes they might have earned a degree in English, Journalism or any related courses. They are expert writers already so do not compare yourself to them. Maybe they have mastered the use of the English language so expressing their thoughts in the most creative manner is easy for them. Expert writers proofread while they're writing which is an advantage for them since they can produce articles in a lesser time. I would say that you should practice writing more. Stop competing with these Pro writers.Eventually you'll get there. Regards. :)

They could of taken the english courses true. They could of also taken advantage of using language translators online. If the article doesn't sound totally correct that could be what they are doing using a translator. That would make it easier to do. IF they didn't bother to proofread to make sure it sounds right.

Hi Introvertshy, you can imagine yourself in the examination hall. You know that students cannot afford the time to write slowly when they are having an examination. The stress and the time factor make them rush. Even though they write fast, that does not mean the answers are lousy. it just means that they have to write simply, and to communicate their ideas in a simple way. Practice makes perfect. If you continue to write articles, sooner or later you will write very fast.
