Have you heard about Illuminati, Freemasonry and stuff?

I was kind of obsessed with that thing myself, a few years ago, it was a period when I was searching and exploring my own beliefs, and I get into the occult, not too much, only in the surface, but, there are so many crazy theories around, and so many diferent sources that the only thing that remains, after a while is confussion. I believe now that most of this sort of things are much over-rated by the media, and do not watch this anymore. I hope your brother settle down soon, clarify his beliefs and find his own way on life.

Yes deaer, it seems that they are the power controling the world. I am not sure that is true, don't tell your brother or he'll hang me, seems people who are obsessed with this really believes in it. But I think there might be some truth in it. Otherwise how such a stupid looser as Bush could become president? American's fault? What if it wasn't? What if he was designed to be there so he could BE controlled? That woman always on his side was rumoured to be the actual president, she commanded everything.

To me, your brother is quite a young thinker, since he started to develop particular interests in things that not all people prefer to think about. These are secret societies, with difference in interests regarding the world, and perceptions related to histories. They are distinguished by their commands, what they should do, and their thinking. At least your brother prefer history, since such societies are related and well established. One piece of advice, do not let your brother becomes obsessed with them. Not all movies, internet and discussions talk the truth about these societies. That's why they are called secret societies. Only people who are members of such know related things. I used to develop such interests in these societies when I was a teenager. However, I prefer medicines now, rather than histories. Happy Mylotting!

Hi enelym001.. I cant say that I know alot about it.. but I once worked for Freemasons.. and In all honesty they are really good people.. like all societies they probably have their bad side.. But as far as I know, they are a society of men who do alot of charity work and fund raising, and they have high practice jobs ie. Lawyers, Doctors etc.. (",) Oh by the way- WELCOME to MYLOT!!!

Illuminati.. I have also heard about this world once. And I asked my friend about its meaning, she told me that this is all about not believing in God.. I really don't know if its the correct definition. I was not also able to search for it in the internet because I am not that interested on it. However, I think maybe if I'll have my free time I'll search for it.

I've worked with some mason... They are nice people... More of a silent type... They are intelligent and somehow deep as a person.... according to one of them... they are planning something big... scary...

I have read a lot about the secret sects and societies that existed and also still exist.Illuminati was think tank that was started as a movement against the repressive church and catholic religion in Italy. Most of the intellectuals like Galileo and prominent builders , architects and thinkers were members of Illuminati which later had to go underground....Freemasonary is also an off shoot of this sect which is very much in existence today and has very powerful personalities across the world as its members and none of the details regarding their activities are revealed to the outsiders..

yeah i believe things like these existed in past or may be even existing.u may find material about these things in dan browns books like " the lost symbol" and "da vinci code".although i do not know a lot about these things but when i hear about these things secret society and stuff i get exited. so well if u want to know about these things the best place is to read in Dan browns books which i mentioned above.

alot of controversies have been raised about these secret societies and more often than not, they are exaggerated. yes, these societies exist, more profoundly during the medieval times or when the church was in power for most of Europe. they were called secrete societies because the church actually had a purpose for them other than what is publicly disclosed - eg knights templar, freemasons, etc. presently, they still continue to exist. freemasons are still as powerful as they were before although they have adapted to the changes of the times as well. alot of freemasons are powerful politicians, lawmakers, businessmen, etc. illuminatis, however, are not as visible. typically because the name itself has been aassociated with anti-religion, anti-christ, etc. this is because during the old times, these illuminatis were considered blasphemous by the church primarily because it was composed of scienties - thus the name illuminati, the enlightened ones, those who were intelligent. and that concept of anti-religion has been carried on until this very day. it is interesting to think that those movies of these genres are true and conspiracies and cover-up stories exist. bu then again, sometimes, the stories have been blown up to huge proportions and somehow, the real essence of the ideology has been tampered with. however, if you ask if they exist, they do! ^^
