Frustrated when internet connection down

I get very frustrated when the internet is down. I am basically shut in caring for my son so when my internet is down I get a little more than frustrated. It is my life line to the outside world. I get most of my socialization that way and I make my living using it.. So I come completely unraveled when I cannot get online!!

I hate that myself. I have had my connection just go down and I would get frustrated and mad. I always call and I wind up on the phone with cablevision for hours. I always get the run around also. But they do send someone and they do seem to fix it. ( out of 10 times it is the provider not the computer.

Well soapies i the times when we do most of the activity depending on internet one way or the other, it can be quite frustrating when it is down. Its a blown up reaction because of our obsession. Every thing in this world has levels of effectiveness and internet is no exception. I have experienced varied forms of frustration. Take the current one I go through on myLot: after I write my topic in the box and hit start or submit, I suddenly find the connection is lost. And since I'm new here yet, I can't even paste it back wfter restoration. :( I do my bill payments & other transactions mostly online. Mid way through, the connection conks off & I get nervous if I had hit the pay button twice. Sometimes, I have to print my e-ticket at the last minute for flight & I find the connection is down. I'm addicted, like many others to working online and when internet is down, I suddenly feel lost out. I keep trying to reconnect repeatedly and it adds to frustration. But it would be wise to remain composed while trying to get help. Feel better :)
