We live in a society that is very open minded and tolerant of people's life choices but when an individual decison affects other people such as your children, how should your choices be made. In the TV show Sister Wives this family's children are effected by their parents decisions and are affected emotionally within their society as students and friends. They may be judged or feel that the cannot relate to their peers. What are the parental responsibilities in ensuring children are accepted in society so that they feel confident and become productive members of socirty in their roles as an individual?

Bigamy is having two wives, you probably meant polygamy which is having multiple wives. If kids are not living in a polygamy household, they will probably get teased for something else such as how they dress, the shoes they wear, being overweight, or even for things they like. The parents will just have to prepare them for this the best they can. Or... if they are not accepted in one area of society, maybe they can find another.

Todays world is so different. We have children from broken homes, homes with 2 moms or 2 dads, and homes with multiple moms and 1 dad like in that show you mentioned. How can we expect children to deal with them when we hardly can? It is very tough on the kids. We need to support them and be there whenever they need us. They are the future!
