I heard from a News 2 days ago that Japan will be giving a FREE Round Trip Ticket to Japan. The only condition is that after your travel you will blog your experience going to Japan by posting them to your Social Sites and etc.
Japan Admin will be making a site to avail the free round trip ticket?
Do you know the legitimate site to avail this promo?

The promo is not yet approved unless the bill/proposal is approved by the Japanese government :) I think by April of next year we'll be hearing updates about this plan/offer. Lodging and pocket money will be shouldered by the applicant/participant :)

The offer may come out then to be not that juicy. Everyone knows how expensive it will turn out to be if lodging is something which shall be shouldered by the lucky participant. As for the food, the participant will have to spend some money for it even if it goes free at the dorms. After all, one can avail of free meals only for breakfast. Supper will usually be lost, too if, one does not manage to come home early enough to grab it within the time frame of serving the food for the night.

Bloggers who like travelling will found this as a good news for them. They might consider to have it. But for normal people like me I will need to think about it again and again. Even with a free tickets, the accommodation etc will need to take into consideration ..perhaps when they approved it next year, the situation has changed..(^^)

But then, taking airfares to Japan is not that cheap either. We have some discounted promos here for trip to Japan but landing area would be in Osaka not Tokyo. And by bullet train, I think it'll take around 2-3 hours before you can reach Tokyo and it's not cheap either. So if they are to offer fares that will bring them straight to Tokyo, I think it's something people can consider :D
Well, it's entirely up to the readers/bloggers if they are to take the offer :D Besides, the government haven't approved of the plan yet :D And yes, lodging and meals are terribly expensive, unless the participant would rather sleep in cafe-lodging areas (or know someone who lives in Japan) or eat ramen and/or foodstand choices for the rest of their stay. LOL!

@petersum: That's true. I think 10K (did I got the number right?) tickets won't be enough :P And yeah, expenses in Japan is really expensive so it would help if you know somebody living in Japan XD

A free airline ticket to Japan sounds too good to be true. Maybe they will pick just one person and many others will miss out. I know that people applying could come from any country in the world. A return flight from Delhi to Tokyo wouldn't cost much compared to a flight from Cape Town to Tokyo.
If I went to Japan before I began my trip I would get a 7 or 14 day train pass. Then I could travel throughout Japan. I think blogging the trip experiences is a superb idea. I hope that you find a way to apply for this great deal. Good luck.

Is there really such a promo?? haha :D IT will be great if it's true! BUt what if the blogger didn't blog all the facts and what's the organiser gonna do? haha It's a little too good to be truth and blogging our experience to our own social sites? How are they gonna check on it then? haha I'm kinda sure it's a scam because Japan is a dream destination for many people, and people will blog with experiences from friends.

Hi Syoti,
If this is legit then what are we waiting for. Let's grab this wonderful opportunity to visit Japan for free. In my opinion, this might be their way of promoting their country to tourists. If doing a write up is the only x-deal for getting a free round trip ticket, i will be pressed to register avail the package.

This sounds a bit too good to be true. I would love the chance to have a free trip to japan. if all I had to do was post my experience of the trip in a blog it would be well worth the task!

I've read about something like this but it was about doing volunteer work in Japan during this weekend, or maybe not this weekend, but it's a weekend, and if I remember it right, it was three days and four nights. The plane fare is free, round trip. If you're interested, you can find the link shared by Japancast.net in Facebook.

Free round trip ticket to japan??hmmm..sounds good but not enough for me. There are other things we need to consider and take them into account. It still over my budget. Great promo but not for me yet. This ill be a good news for those who already have budget to it..They could cut cost of their trip budget and just prepare money for other things during the trip.(^^)

that is a very good news and i am interested to go to Japan and blog about my experience there.i think they are doing this to boost the tourism of Japan after the many crises that they have gone through. if only the lucky person to go to Japan will have his or her expenses shouldered by the government, i am sure flocks will go for it
