I will admit here right now that I am a HUGE fan of Game of Thrones. Partially because I think Khal Drogo, the actor Jason Momoa is really hot. But on a serious note, I love the plot of the show, the depth of each character, and how the show can bring the worse and the best emotions out in me. It's on HBO, but I just have such a huge addiction to it. Whenever the DVDs come out, I want to buy them. On top of that, I know I love the book A Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin, so the show was a win-win from the get-go.
The other is show is House. Yes, I am a fan of the titular character's witty sarcasm and sharp tongue. He's such a smart alec that it's a serious delight for me to watch the show. That, and I get to learn a few things about different ailments and the complications in the medical world. Not that I want to be a doctor per say, but it is interesting.
MythBusters. It's the nerd in me to watch a show where the people on the show prove all these myths wrong such as an episode of them dispelling movie myths which is one of my favorite episodes.
There are a few more shows, but that would be quite a long list. So folks, what shows do you enjoy?

I heard of Game of Thrones, some of my friends watch it- it looks cool since it is in Medieval times and great effects and action. I love action too with mystery and the like- so I watch Nikita, Chuck and CSI. I also watch Korean series since they are fun and it's nice to see new faces from other countries.

I love THE AMAZING RACE, US X FACTOR, OUR LOCAL TALENTADONG PINOY and WILL TIME BIG TIME on TV5 Kapatid (Philippines tv shows). Of course my number 1 is Amazing Race. I wish I can be a contestant of Amazing Race in the future. I would love to travel around the world and accept all the challenge that will come along the way. I think that is the best game show in TV history.

I haven't most of those shows. I'm almost certain I've seen The Amazing Race at some point, but it's been a while. I've seen quite a few of those competitive sport shows, and I honestly sometimes can't remember which is which when I haven't seen them in a while.

Jason Momoa, he is the new Conan in the Conan the Barbarian movie, right? I used to watch House, but my dislike for Taub and Thirteen kind of had me checking out of that show. And I still like to catch Mythbusters now and again. But my favorite shows are The Vampire Diaries, The Big Bang Theory, and Raising Hope. I thought when The Vampire Diaries first premiered it would be a teeny bopper show. But wow was I wrong. It never ceases to amaze me episode after episode. I never read the books, so I have no idea how much they differ. There are a couple other shows I catch now and again, but those three are my favorites. New Girl on FOX has the potential to be another favorite.

I like game shows generally although they are more up to date now. I do have a favourite and this game show doesn't come on any more so you have to search for it on one of the many channels on cable. It's Family Fortunes hosted by Les Dennis. I just think it's a great show and it's nice to watch the different family members competing against each other.
X Factor isn't too bad although I think it was better when Simon Cowell used to be on the judging panel but he's not on there anymore and is doing something else in the US I think. I haven't seen Game of Thrones so I don't know what that is like but I will take your word for it that it's one to possibly look out for in the future. Family Fortunes has to be at the top of my list in terms of entertaining game shows. Andrew

1.Doctor Who: for it's fantastic lessons we can learn - the most important one is that we must be good to each other. And for the great joy, of course.
2.Torchwood : I simply love that kind of stories
3.Numb3rs: Wonderful TV series showing how various crimes can be solved with the help of math. Many other things one can learn from this show.
4.Law and Order: Criminal Intent: fantastic and deep show, helping to penetrate the evil mastermind's head and solve a crime.
5.House MD: simply incredible and very, very interesting.
I can go on with more, but I guess you already get the picture.
