How can I get more responses?

I don't have any discussions with zero responses. I will tell you exactly what was told to me when I was new as well: When you start discussions, make sure you comment back to the responders. Not doing so will have members remember that you are not interested in your own discussion. Many members as well as myself, place well though out responses to discussions that interest us, we also from time to time do search the net for helpful and useful authoritative information. If you do not comment back to what we say then how will we know that you are even reading them? This then causes for member never to return again. No one likes to talk alone. On another note, you don't earn for what we respond with, until you comment back you are not further earning. Keep in mind that I earn for what I type and you earn for what you type. So it does not make any difference if you receive 1 or 100 responses unless you are commenting/typing back, in regards to earnings. other helpful tips I was given is that if you respond to others discussions with helpful information, this will prompt them to respond to yours as well.

Hi szz1990602. Your question is everyone problem .....include me hehehehehe But I think you do it this way: 1. Make attractive tittle. Everyone here see the tittle first before entering any discussion. 2. Make a lot of friends here. Is that answering your questions?

You can post quality discussions and yet get no response. I have seen topics which are not of quality but gets a lot of response. The responses is determined by the people's interest who are logged in at the time that the topic is posted. So what happens when those who might get interested in your topic are not logged in at the time of posting, or will log in after a few days, chances are, they might not be able to find your topic. You will find a lot of topics in the "no response" category. If these topics are of no quality content, mylot would have deleted it. In my case, I am opening the topics listed in the "no response" category and I always find topic that interest me and I post my comments.

I responded to one of your topics that interested me. I try to find topics that I think I can discuss at a particular time. I do not force it. I just go with how I feel at the time, so I may not always respond. If you try to respond back or comment on what people write in your topics that is helpful to get more responses. People will see that you read what they write and want to have further discussions. I tend not to worry about the amount of responses. I rather enjoy mylot more if I see quality discussions even if it is only one response. I have read topics and not responded but found them interesting. We can also rate discussions here that you start which shows our appreciation. Picking topics that interest you are important I suppose. I have responded to my own topic when I think of something extra or want to add another point to it. In the end if people do not respond, I can assume it is was not a popular topic and just go to another. So far I have gotten some good responses and I find some are very good helpful ones too, so I am happy with mylot in this way. I like short little discussions, they are fine too.

make sure you verify your bank account and this would be helpful for them to deposit the funds directly to you..

I also got very less responses in the discussion I made and even a 0.... but I don;t give a damn on it, lol =) But I guess for you to get more response, you should try to start an interesting topic that would generally attract the attention of people of any age and gender. It might also help if you join in other people's discussions, and I guess some people check out the discussions you made if they find your responses to other's really interesting and good. good luck!

First, take a look at today's top and the hot discussions. See what they are writing about. Then try to write something about the same types of topics but from a different angle. Never write the exact same topics as you see here already. relationship topics seem to be popular, as do money making topics.

you could go around your friends and interact on their discussions and wait for the payback...

hi szz try making a discussion about something in your own life, mayb e a problem you would like help on, or something about your own family. we all love to know more about each other so people here will respond to that kind of discussion more than some other topics and as yours is personal you will not run into some one else making a duplicate of it at all.things that strike a chord in mylotters usually will bring some responses. something we can all more or less relate to.Hope this helps. I have got more responses for things like that.

Hi szz According to my experience in mylot till date how one can get huge response in mylot i want to highlight it in briefly:- 1. The Writing skills very important you should able to express your view in well manner so that even a lay man can understand it. 2. Make friend How?- When you receive the response try to give the comment back and always agree with the response that you receive(but i don't do that means when i don't agree with the mylotter response then without any hesitation i express it) but friend you don't do that if you want to get more response. 3. Try to remain active in mylot. 4. Attractive heading of the post discussion. There are still many points but if you follow this four points i'm sure you have no complain of not getting huge response in your discussion in future. I think there is really no good reasons as to why some discussions go unattended here or just a couple of responses and its done. Sometimes the mood of the site determines how the day will be..

Hi there! Yes, the quality of the content of the discussion is a big factor to be considered by myLot users in responding. Also, I observed that the topics which net many responses are often the ones which every individual can relate to. Examples of these topics are about life, internet & computers (most users here are computer savvy), money making (most users arrived in myLot to earn money online) and topics that are quite general for humans. Also, building up your friends list can increase the possibility of exposing your discussions to various people of different interests which can net more responses. Also, try posting discussions during the peak of myLot users' activity, although you have to consider the target responders regarding their country of origin due to difference in time zones. I usually don't response with a discussion with very long intro not to mention with lots of wrong grammar and not putting a pharagraph in it. I like to response more which corresponds with KISS (Keep it sense and simple). And sometimes the title of their discussion doesn't makes sense with the details of it. You should post a discussion with a general interesting idea, that will target more mylotters to relate with it.

so you lot responded, I think you should make a good and interesting topics. then people visit your topics with so many comment on it.

Perhaps a good way to have more answers is to add interesting and useful tags, so that your post will be seen by someone who does a research about your same topic or you will be visible by someone who wrote something similar.

Szz, Don't worry. You are not alone. Just enjoy posting discussions and responding to others posts. Don't stress yourself too much worrying how to get more responses. You can try making catchy discussion titles or interests. Good luck!

Hello Szz, I think you need to make lot more friends as i have just seen on your profile that you have just 20 friends here till date. When i say to make more friends that means when you have more friends and you start a discussion more people would be able to get notification for it and there are chances that you will get more responses. Try to comment back to the responses and try to interact more to the people here so that you may get noticed by the people and thats sure when you will get noticed you will get more responses on your discussion. And lastly your discussion should be good enough to attract people otherwise nobody respond to the discussion which don't interest them.

I also share the same experience as you have there. I have one discussion with a 0 response. Thanks for starting this discussion as I will read its responses and look for some tips on how to attract responses to our discussions.

You can get more response when you comment back but you not comment back like me then how can get more responses. If you wants to more responses then comment back on your responder.

It also depends what you are talking about. For example if you always talk about your family and complain. when I see your name I will skip over it and not bother looking at all. But if your topics vary and are interesting I will read and comment and even ask to be your friend. There is a few mylotters that basically have the same topics again and again and again and the only difference is who they are talking about but it's the same situation over and over again. I always want to say get a life, read a book, do something new so it's interesting to read your discussions. But I don't want to be too rude. Don't worry you will get some good responses and some not so good. Luckily my one friend will normally read what I write. LOL
