Pure Love is the English title of the Korean television drama which is originally entitled 49 days. It is being shown in our local channel and I am quite addicted to it. I don't really watch Korean Drama but this time I am so intrigued with the story that's why a night won't pass without me watching it. If I fail to watch it, I would look for the episode at youtube and watch it there. Pure love is a story a girl named of Dianne or Ji-Hyun in Korean, she seems to have a perfect life, a mother and a father who loves her so much, a fiance who seem to love her so much and is about to marry her until she met that accident. Meanwhile, Ysabelle or Yi-kyung is girl who is tired of her life, she is very depressed and lonely, she can't cope up with the lost of his boyfriend. On that fateful day, Ysabelle decided to commit suicide by going in the middle of a busy street but somebody was good enough to save her life. At the same time, Dianne was driving along that road, she was not driving properly as she discovered something that is connected with her fiance. Dianne met the accident and she was left in a coma, but she didn't realize it immediately until she was able to talk to the scheduler. She was given a chance by the scheduler to be able to live again that is, if she would be able to collect three pure tears in forty nine days. She really thought this was an easy task as she thought all her friends loves her purely but along the way she realize that not all have a genuine love for her. She discovered the relationship of her best friend and fiance. There are many revelations on the story, relationships between the characters and the twists in the stories and the pure love that was given by each of the individual. The series is about to end in our local channel, and I am so excited for it. Any of you who are watching the series also? What do you think of the story? Do you like it also?

Hi indahfth! If you like watching Korean Dramas, you should never miss this one. I am not a real fan of Korean Dramas but this one is really different. There are videos on youtube and you can start watching them at episode one, though some of the episodes were not 100% complete but you would still be able to like and understand it. Good luck and have fun watching! Thanks!

I don't really watch this but my daughter does and she loves it.. I have just seen a few glimpses of this show. And it seems like a powerful drama. It is almost ending though, I think- maybe I will just buy the dvd since I can't catch the show since it is shown so late here.

hello dear Red. Pure Love inspires me to wait for someone destined to me. I am also addicted into this Korean Drama, The twist is so original and the actors are all great and beautiful. I also like their outfit and hair styles, their location is also the best "showcasing the beauty of the Country South Korea". How I wish to go there and meet some of the well known Tv personalities. Another best thing about Korean drama is their unexpected ending, as if we cannot really guess what will happen until the end. The Love shown in this series is so heart warming and touching. I hope the Filipino drama can make something great show just like this.

I got really addicted to this drama so much that I just couldn't wait to watch the ending so, I decided to buy a DVD copy of it. I know now the ending of the story. It's quite sad. I don't want to spill out the ending here because some might not want to know yet. The movie has also kept me thinking, if there will also be someone who will be shedding pure tears for me when I die. I have realized from the movie that even your closest friend can betray you. When I watched that series, I just kept on crying. Never was there an episode that didn't made me cry. Of all the Korean series I've watched, this certainly is one of the best.

Hi clearwater! The show is about to end in our local channel, I think this Friday would be the last airing of the show. Yes, the story would end tragically but everything would work out better. You are right, watching this show would make us think whether the people around us are true or if they really have pure love for us or they are just like any other people who are just using at. The show would make us cry. I just love it and I can't wait for the ending of the show. I might just watch it all over again.

Yeah, I just bought a dvd of this but I returned it since the subtitles made no sense at all. I scanned through it though and it looks like a really good series to watch- I even cried at some parts even though I didn't fully understand what they were saying.

I have watched it since it started and still watching every evening though it's a bit late already. I like the plot of the story. For me it's a wholesome film to watch because of the values and the portrayals of each person. There are so much lessons to learn from it. The values of letting go, attachment, detachment, true friendship, humility and trust. But most of all the value of pure love, of a friend, of a father and mother. What is also striking for me is the strong character o women. Somehow the series is giving us a glimpse of the Korean culture and the role of women in their society. It's quite appealing because of the roles of women it portrays. Each actress has a unique role and manifests a specific character. I like the movie. I see to it that I watch it every night. maybe it's nearing its end already based on the turn of events.
