It's that time of year, to cut back.

By cutting back I mean trimming the trees and bushes and a final mow of the fields. As much as I love the Spring and all the growth. by the time Summer ends I look forward to cutting back the overgrowth and the thinning of the leaves that opens the vistas to the neighbors and even the road a quarter mile away. Each season has it's special beauty and now all the fields will green with rain and then cover with snow, it really is a joy to behold.

All i really think of about this time of year is knowing that I will be out there raking up thousands of leaves from the garden, so much effort, its very annoying when you spend 4 hours one day clearing all the grass and then its windy that night and the whole ground is covered again! And with it getting colder it means I've lost more clothes to the girlfriend who is always cold haha

You could do like we do and wait until all the leaves drop, that way we only rake once. Christmas is coming you could give her some warm cloths of her own. We are about to pull out the long underware but will wait until a little colder here.

Well, I do look forward to the final time to cut the grass during the year. However, the thing that I like the most about the fall is the way that the leaves change colors. This year they are absolutely beautiful, my friend and I were driving to another friend of ours house and we took the backroads. We saw leaves in red, yellow, orange, brown and even purple. Those things are absolutely stunning this time of year.

Can't believe we're getting closer to the holidays already! I do enjoy it when it comes near...but every year I feel like they come quicker and quicker.

Well, I don't have to worry about cutting anything as far as bushes or anything here. I live in the city. But Fall is also a time for another round of cleaning like we do in the spring. I am getting ready to purge again, things I mean, getting rid of unwanted stuff.
