Working but not feeling well

Yesterday we had a personnel day in our company. After the talk we had a wellness or fitness program, so I joined the different activities like badminton, volleyball and aerobics. I was very exhausted when I went home. Now I am sick and not feeling well. Maybe I will just try to report in the office with this feeling. There are so many paperworks to attend to and I could not just take a leave of absence. This is the Irony of life If I am not mistaken, The weaker you are the more activities and works are needed to be finished.

Depends on how sick you are because you don't want to make your co workers sick as well, sometimes better to take a day to get better.I hope this helps and have a great day and get well soon.

Hello Jade, it is really hard to work while your not in good shape. You should be better to have rest so your body could revive it's lost energy during the event. Like here, though the staff is sick, bosses doesn't allow her to take a sick leave unless you're totally bedridden. They would said that "no need to file a leave, there is a clinic at the ground floor". I didn't want to say this but they never cared for employees, only in the income of the company.

How cruel they are? Employers should love their workers so that in return the workers will do their task with passion and concern for the company. Without workers the company will shut down.

If I am too sick too work and really need rest I will not risk my health then. Health is wealth and no amount of money can buy a new life. So, if I am too sick I will never go to my work no matter how important it is. I can always tell my boss and if they won't understand my situation so be it...They are the one who will suffer in the end. Have a good day

I've experienced this before. I've been out numerous times before so I couldn't afford to absent again. I had to go to work sick. Although it turned out fine because all I did was sit there and did email support and some calls. LOL

Your work at your office maybe almost the same every day. It is much harder now because you are sick and the work you used to do in your optimum health may seems too many. You get sick because you went to an activity without preparing yourself so next time you must have warm up and don't forget to take your vitamins if you have. Health is wealth so don't be sick. Have time to rest so that you can regain your optimum status as soon.

I did warm up, I am sick maybe because of stress and pressure in my working environment. I have so many piles of paperworks in my table and that kills my mind on how to finish it.

yeah it depends on how sick you really are. I do experienced the same way before,I had to report at the office to meet all those deadlines eve though a little sick. Maybe you got so tired from those activities that your body usually do.Take your medicine immediately. They say prevention is better than cure.

If you think your body can still handle all the work in the office, then don't be absent. But if you think otherwise, then might as well be absent because maybe you might get a lot sicker.
