Ideas to make Mylot better

Do you have any idea or suggestions to make Mylot better, more creative and more interesting.

I think mylot is great as it is. What would make it more interesting would be people making interesting real discussions, not stupid questions such as "have you seen this show last night?" that are only posted to make money. Besides, those people keep forgetting we mylotters come from all over the world and half the time most of us have no idea what are they talking about.
A piece of advice, search for interesting conversations, make good friends here, and follow their discussions. That's good enough to make your experience here a lot more interesting.

I agree I've been a member for just a few days but I've seen a lot of stupid topics already.I hope there would be more interesting topics discuss in mylot

Well, there are, if you know where to search... try the top discussions first and if you find any interesting response go to that person's profile to see his or her other posts.

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully I can find some really good discussions in here so spending my time here would be enjoyable while earning some money.

If myLot made it compulsory for new users to take a quiz concerning the FAQs and Guidelines BEFORE they were allowed to post, then we might get fewer topics which are already answered in there.
If they then also had to wait until they reached 100 before starting their own topics, they might then also understand that myLot is a discussion site and they do NOT earn anything for the responses that others post on their topics.
Other than that I would not change anything because it is the Lotters themsleves that make myLot what it is.

It is much better to reach 100 slowly as the only benefit once you reach it that you see your star and you can then rate others. If you take your time to get there then more people will see you and they might then start recognising you and rating your activity. If you rush to reach it then you risk having a lower star because not many were aware of your posts.
It is better to do things slowly but correctly rather than rushing and getting it wrong surely?

That may turnoff other non-members to register in mylot and also new members because they can't enjoy mylot right away. Reaching 100 takes a lot of time I think

I think the only thing I can suggest is that hopefully we can post a video or something like that. However, it takes so much space so I don't think mylot will do that. But who knows, maybe they would consider it and someday we can post either photos or videos.

That's a good idea, and it will be really more interesting. I think space would not be an issue. Hope Mylot would consider that.
