I need at least the skin color cream to put on and to rise my eye lashes or I feel I'm going out naked. Why are we women like that? It would be so great to live like men, I know it's a concept created by society: women must be beautiful and men don't but I can't change that now, it begun like when I was 15 and I can change to feel bad if I go out without being my best.

I only use make-up on special occasions and normally go out without any make-up. It is normal for women not to wear make-up here, maybe a little eye-liner, lipstick or mascara but not the full face, normally it is easy to see who is not local resident because they use heavier make-up, I don't know why though.

I have an idea of the type of place you live in. Where I live also it's no fashion show, if I even wear sunglasses people stare a little. And I have to use it, I have much sensibility to sun light, like a vampire really, I take sunglasses off only after 6 pm. So it's really not nice to put too much make up or dress extravagant, I would feel weird.

I can but at least I need to put some powder on so that I wouldn't have an oily skin and that is enough with me. Sometimes I feel more comfortable going out without make up. I feel that my face looks more fresh without make up. I even feel so happy when they give my compliment that I look pretty even without make up. It depends also on the place. If I am going to a party I wear make up. If I'm going for a date I wear less and more natural make up because guys do love girls that look pretty with their natural look. I just reserve my other looks for some events so that at least there is still a "wow" factor because of that different look I have. But anyway, most of the time, I really don't like to put make up on. If only I'm going to a place where no one wears make up I would be so happy because we are all fair. Haha. No more efforts of putting make up just to look pretty. For me, the more natural, the more prettier you are.

Hi katie: Even if I am a boy so I don't have this problem, I find that your question is really interesting. It's all about stereotypes. They have taught us that girls should act this way but that's not real. In fact I have met some girls that look pretty just with their natural beauty and remember. What we call beautiful or fashion today won't be that in the future.

Yes. I never used make up and I will go out wirhot make up. We will look beautiful without make up too. After using it regularly and if you stop it,then you will have a feel that you are not looking good. For me it is better not to use unwanted chemicals in my face so that I can look young always. It is also very easy to get ready for going out because I don't use make up and I am saving my precious time.

I can definitely understand the feeling - but I live by a college campus where sleep makeup/beauty haha. I recently started wearing makeup more often, and I can see where that discomfort from going out without makeup comes from. However, I still go out barefaced all the time - I just don't care that much. My makeup tends to be pretty natural anyways, so going out barefaced just means that I look a little less polished (and maybe more tired) than usual.
Give it a try sometime! It's not as scary as you think :)

hi katie,
Oh yes of course, I do that all the time even at work I don't wear make-up as in nada. It is sometimes funny to think that before I can't be out without any blusher or lipstick on. Because back then I was so conscious about my skin and all but I've realized that most make-up products makes my face more oily and blemish-prone. Right now, I don't have any pimples and blemishes unlike before. I only put make-up on important occasions or whenever I feel like putting it.

Yes I can go without make up because I barely wear any make up, and when I do I do feel different you know it is a different feeling when you wear make up, you get to see what you look like covered up LOL, then when it all comes off who you really are.

Yes I can go out without makeup even I not use soap for my face. Because I believe on nature beauty and showing my face to people I want to show only my husband and they like natural face of mine.

Yes, I usually go out without makeup.
I'm not a makeup person. I am actually lazy
to apply all those things on my face.
I just want to get to wherever I need to go to
and I don't mind what other people think about
my skin tone or if I look pale.
If I try to at least make myself look attractive, the opposite happens
which is really irritating. If I go out without make up,
I notice more men tend to look at me. That's really weird.

Hello katie
I don't understand that why women like this much to do make up and look beautiful.I feel to dress up and looking good as a over burden.Even I want to know that all these beauty are for whom. Are women want to impress men or they just want to make jealous other women.
I seriously ask a question that if I see a girl looking beautiful and she is completely unknown to me.Then should I go to her to tell she is looking beautiful means will she feel happy after that or just get away from me.I never have courage to do so.

I think it is important to be neat and presentable, but not that we should go out of our way to look good because that is what society expects us to do. We can also be the ones who could delete those concepts. we need to have and kind and beautiful heart along with the external beauty... sure society will accept that concept far better.

Katie0....When i was about 10 years old, i had a concept that appearing with out make up is a bad thing. And I always used heavy make up. But now, the all my concept towards life has changed. Now I wear makeup as the situations-like Party, College, function etc..Sometimes, I will not use til face powder while go to college. A person's behaviour is the main factor that enlightening him among the crowd.Second one is the accessories that gives you pretty look. Do the light make up experimentally. But if you are not satisfied with that, You can do as you like. I think this will help you to improve your concepts. All the best & Thank you..

I only wear make up when there is an occasion or I think it is badly needed. It is pretty cool when you have make up. It makes us girls more beautiful. I am not really an expert when it comes to make ups but I am trying my best to put on some make up in order to look good.

I only use make up when going to the office. Before, I use to wear make up every single day because I had to, for work, but now I only wear make up once in a week. I am not comfortable wearing make up. I want the natural look. I only apply eye liner, and eye lash curler. Sometimes i use mascara but I feel like it will smudge anytime of the day lol.

You are so right Katie0, we are so used to this make up thing that going out without wearing it makes us feel incomplete. I am not in favor of heavy make up , but yes alight makeup with all the essentials before going out is required.
