How Many Among Us Here Are Anime Lovers?

Philippines

I love to watch lots of anime shows. My youngest son is the one who provides the downloaded items for all of us to watch during our free time. It has now become the thing that we do during family bonding moments. Bleach, Naruto, Beelzebub...regardless of whether they be action, fiction, music, drama for as long as they are entertaining enough, we watch them all. I may be nearly 60 years old but, I am always having fun time watching endless amounts of these anime shows. Do you?

Hi trinidad! Your sons are lucky to have you as their fellow anime fanatic father. When I was in my teenage years, I was so addicted to anime that my mother gets sometimes annoyed with it (because I always watch anime on tv and they can't watch what they want to watch and we only had one tv then). I wished then that she would like anime, too maybe not as much as I do, but enough to tolerate me and watch with me sometimes. That never came true. But now, it's not a problem with her anymore because I watch my anime in my netbook and never bother to watch tv anymore. I'm almost half your age but I still like anime. I watch Bleach, Fairy Tail, Usagi Drop, Hunter X Hunter, and Daa! Daa! Daa!

I have always been a lover of hunterxhunter. The first time i saw it, i loved it the most among them all. However, this is the first time that i have known about Daa! Daa! Daa! I will have my son brief me about this one.

Daa! Daa! Daa! is about Kanata and Miyu taking care of an alien baby, Ruu. Ruu mistakes them as his parents calling them Papa and Mama. They live in one temple together with Wanya, seemingly a cat, Ruu's "yayo" who can transform into anyone.

It's great to know that anime can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of age. I'm also an anime lover. I've been into it for many years now and I have seen so many different shows. I've actually gotten my siblings, my mom and a lot of friends into anime too. I think it's fun that my family actually has this in common and that we can get into heated debates about the various anime shows we've seen. These times always lead to a lively atmosphere.

Animes, they always manage to keep a lively entertained group out of those who are watching them. Makes me smile, laugh and exchange out of this world thoughts and ideas with my kids. Makes me feel so good inside out.

We watch all anime shows regardless of whether they are of japanese, chinese or korean origin. Now, I am wondering if I am wrong about thinking that there are some which are chinese and korean among the son's collection. As for the movies, some are of western origin.

I love watching anime. I watch from shounen genre to shoujo. I also love watching Bleach and Naruto. Have you watched One Piece? It is the best. It's better than Bleach and Naruto (in my opinion) . It is the funniest anime ever, and I also love the main character, Luffy.

It has been like two months now since I was able to have my piece of one piece. I don't know. My son has not been downloading it anymore. I thought that it is one of those which have been for already. I will ask him about it, then.

Ah, so you already started watching it. I didn't like it at first. Good thing I continued watching it until the characters developed. It was really good, and there are no boring moments. Even the fillers are funny lol.

I love anime! Not as much as I used to due to being busier, but I enjoy it. I generally stick to anime with good animation; I love watching something fluid and beautiful!

It is good for us that there are more coming. I even love the musicals that they make. Everything...just about everytihing about anime. Perhaps most of them are targeted at children for an audience and thus, they mostly come with good plots and stories.

Hello, there, steph. I have only had the good chance of having had a son for myself who takes care of downloading these anime matters. Most ones are those which come in trickles by episodes week after week. If a lucky week comes by, we will be able to watch a whole movie to the effect.

Hahahahaha...who cares about age and who cares about what other people say while getting entertainment? I have once heard one of my children's friends remarked that how he wished his mom will also be able to find time watching some cartoon shows with them. So I believe it is really for the good of everyone at home that, I find time to sit with my kids and spend sometime watching some movies and whatever more.

Wow.. its clear enough that you are a anime lover indeed. I also belong to this group. However, I do not have much time sometimes. My favorite anime of all was I think Yamato Nadeshiko.. I just enjoyed the character of the protagonist there. By the way if you don't know, that anime has a touch of romance. I don't think you'll like that. I also watch naruto. However, I was not able to continue watching the other series of it. Maybe if I'll have my free time. I would love watching it again.

There are tons of us all over the world, believe me. XD It's good news that even with your age, you still find enjoyment in anime. Usually, others would say it's childish to watch anime, how they misunderstand -sigh-

I'm an anime lover also... people also refer to them as OTAKU...i really enjoy watching it like one piece, fairy tail, naruto, hunter x hunter etc. I also read manga (anime comics). watching anime can be a form of relaxation, as well as improving your creative skills and you can also learn valuable lesson. sometimes people tend to say that we're such a childish but they dont know that some of the Teleserye, Koreanovela, japanese shows or television shows were based on manga or anime...

Anime fan here. I like their big, shiny eyes and cool hair. Plus, the character development and storylines are more serious. American cartoons are mostly of the comedic genre, whereas anime is a medium with a multitude of genres catering to almost every age group and every category.

haha It sounds like something my friend and I do sometimes, except we don't usually download. We tend to do streaming most of the times. My friend and I will just sit down at least once a week and try to catch up on all the updates we missed during the rest of the week. At least for the ones we watch together. We have a few that we watch separately. Like currently we watch Chihayafuru, Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi 2, Un-Go, Shakugan no Shana 3, and Persona 4 together, but I'll watch stuff like Guilty Crown and Fate Zero by myself. Either because she's not caught up or because she just doesn't like the type of anime. (^__^)
