since last two or thee months the popularity of Obama has been reduced. Americans are expressing historical levels of negativity towards u.s government, with a record high 81% of Americans dissatisfied with the way the country is being governed.the opposition exploit Obama's LACK OF AMERICANS ROOT AND LIMITED CONNECTION TO BASIC AMERICAN VALUES AND CULTURE,his African Muslim father, his foreign sounding name, his childhood outside the continental U.S
Obama is more popular abroad than at home except in Muslim countries.one was the time when Laden killing by u.s soldiers boosted up president Barack Obama's image
and now the issues of economy and unemployment let his popularity down.a recent survey results shows downfall of Obama's rating as follows:
38% say he wants to take away American's right to own gun.
32% say he is a Muslim.
25% say he was not born in the u.s so is not eligible to be president.
23% say he is racist and anti American.
In my views Americans have lost confidence on their president and now it's sure that they will resume to the white as president in next election.most Americans now think that Obama is not eligible for the next presidency.

Well, isn't that the million-dollar question? With that, welcome to myLot!
It's not entirely the Americans' fault for making Mr. Obama their leader. They were tired of the same old people running, and getting status quo results. Mr. Obama wasn't, & isn't, a politician when he entered & won the presidential race. He had ideals, though, and is a good orator. I thought then it was going to be very hard for him to govern (he needed/s to learn a lot, & that requires time), but people don't have patience for that. It's just too bad that life seems to get harder by the day, particularly for them - with an ongoing war, global economic woes, etc., and it's just easier to blame 1 person for it. I do think though, his administration needs to work harder, & Congress be reminded they're U.S. citizens first, Republicans second, to get something good going. Ultimately, the whole nation needs to do its part in making their country work better, i.e. apply reason come voting time.

I believe that Obama was elected mainly because people in the US, were sick already of the Bush administration, and wanted a change, so, they went for the people least similar to Bush, in any imaginable aspect. Yet, I tink that the permanence or not of MR Obama in the White House, will depend mostly on the way he manages the internal policy, rather than international issues, the killing of Bin-Laden was a high point in his administration, but the euphoria won´t last until the next elections.

I don't think Obama's election was a bad decision but i feel he is the most brave and clever president U.S had till now. He came into power when U.S was in bad state, but he pulled them up in crisis and even he was the one who put an end to the threat called Osama and so, in all regards Obama was the best choice U.S made and though his popularity has come down, he will definitely raise again for sure

the thing is obama has his hands tied up... any president in any country... reality is that who ever wins the elections should represent the rich and corporate world (in each country)... ok let me clear things up, simplify it for all of you... when a president runs he needs cash of campaign material and god knows what more (in my country they buy the voters)... so where do you think they get all the money... exactly the ones who's money are over streaming... but do you think that the money that was poured in during the elections are for free... nope you need to do some favor for these big corporations because you have a debt and debts are need to be paid...
so if you want to win as the president you need to be a slave to those big corporations... and in the end you are just a puppet that they play, well puppet is too harsh, representative would fit. so the thing is you will represent the big banks and corporations. we know that the interest of common people and corporations is always clashing each other...
you are a common person... you don't own any huge corporation so that is why you have this feeling that you are being rob. who ever wins will always do the same mistake for they are the birds with different feathers... some can fly and some can't but then again they are all birds... in the end they don't give a dumb about the cats or dogs for they are birds...

At the moment of the elections it was the right choice. He seemed like what we needed at the moment. The thing is, this happens with almost every person thats elected, and not only in the US but all over the world. Citizens do not seem to understand how hard the job of the leaders of each country is, they try as much as possible most of the time, but lets be honest, they're not perfect, things happens, so instead of flaming them as much as people do, why do we not try to understand their side of the story?
More importantly, those surveys seem rather weird, do you have any actual reference towards them? a link maybe?

White president in office trying his best to scre* up USA, first time black president did his best to make it worse. They only care about reaching personal agenda and ambition, taking care of the well being of their own family members and big corporate contributors. While the the rest of commoners and low income American in U.S are left to fend for themselves and struggle for living every day.

I think that the dicision to elect Obama as president was right. He gave hope and we needed hope. The problem as I see it is that no matter who was elected, we would still be in the same place as we are now or worse.
Today, we have those in Washington that are concerned with their agenda and not the people's. The Tea Party Republican's main goal is to get Obama out. This was shown by Rep. O'Connell making the priorty of Republicans to get Obama out. Never mind what the country needs. No matter what Obama did, it was wrong according to them. Anything to discredit him.
Obama has tried to get us out of this mess, but has met opposition. For those who obhject to the bail outs, remember they were started by the last president. Obama carried them on because he knows that the economy needed a boost. My problem is not with Obama, but with those who took the bailout money and did not use it for what it was intended. Maybe he should have had some protection in it to make sure people used it for what it was intended, but what about the responsibility of those who took it? Had the bailout money been used by those who took it for the purpose it was intended, we would be a lot further along to recovery.
The prejudice against Obama is obvious. It isn't all racial. A lot is party prejudice. This is shown how they will not believe he was born in Hawaii even though the Dept of Health of Hawaii has verified it. They didn't like his short form, but that is the form that Hawaii gives out. They no longer give out the long form. Add to this, no one has come up with a birth certificate from anywhere else, not even the country they say he was born in.
Americas decision to elect Obama was right. He has sone some questionable things, but in these times what has been done in the past is not working. He has been accused of not likeng America and apologising for us, but what they do not understand, is that many in other countries have issues with some of the things we have done and with Obama recognizing these it puts us in another light with them and more acceptable to them. Obama has also called them out about their faults also when ever he made these supposed apologies.
If there was as much energy to get behidn our president as there is to try to tear him apart, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in right now. Is he perfect? No. Has he made mistakes? Yes Has he kept all his promises? No, but there hasn't been a president yet who has. So yes, the decision of America to elect Obama was the right one.
