In my case,I dont understand the women who were obsessed on having thick lips, because it doesn't make them pretty, it makes them look scary, Oh yeah it looks good on Angelina Jolie but the lips fits with her bone structure, There was a female singer I use to have crush on but when she decided to have thick lips, she looks horrible. I can understand people who wants their nose fixed but I will never understand people who wanted surgery to have thick lips cos it always looks fake no matter what. Then there are the people who tanned or bleaches their skin, People with Pale skin will burn themselves under the sun, not caring for skin cancer cos they want a tan. Then people with perfect tan trying bleach their skin cos they want to be fairer.

Yes, I don't know why some other women do that. There are many gorgeous women I have seen, that after their surgery, they don't look good anymore. Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox for example. Lindsay was my favorite, she had a very sweet, cute face. But she was not satisfied with it and decided to do surgery. And now, she looks, .. plastic. Also Megan Fox, she was really hot before, but not anymore.

I understand it when ugly people takes surgery to look pretty but when good looking peopletakes surgery to make them selves look ugly just like the examples you gave, is really hard to understand, megan fox is a bit borderline manly with her newlook,

i hv heard or read somewhere that men prefer women with thick lips cos having thick lips make them look sexy. I think I can understand why women r so obsessed w physical beauty. In my country, it's acceptable for a man to go for interviews without having to dye his hair even when he has grey hair. However, interviewers will frown upon women who go for interviews without covering up their grey hair, no matter how old they r. So I think societal expectations and culture of a country hv to be blamed to some extent. I think another reason why women r obsessed w physical beauty is because men tend to b attracted to women who look gd. Moreover, men generally tend to stray (pardon me for being so direct; I m saying this based on what I hv observed.) and so women hv to try to make themselves look gd in order to keep their bfs or husbands.

I guess I'm more into "cute" than sexy, I dolove a beautiful body but I prefer the face to look natural (even if she has plastic surgery, she can look natural right?) But I cant blamed women for wanting them but there are women who are beautiful before they decided to make their lips thick and the thick lips looks more of a downgrade. About grey hair, I havent heard about that standards yet, but I know many people dont want grey hair cos its a sign of aging.

Ya of course w plastic surgery, a woman's face can still look natural. There r many celebrities who go for plastic surgery; I m sure there r those who hv elastic surgery done but nobody knew abt it because they don't look unnatural.

I think full lips look silly on someone who does not have part Negro ancestry. Also I canot understand people who want a nose job, because it means they are ashamed of their ancestry. If your ancestors came from Rome, you are going to have a Roman nose and to change it into an uplift to make it look like you came from somewhere else i wrong. As for the tanning, if I go for a walk in summer being that this is in Manitoba, and even though I am fair skinned some of my ancestors might have come from Italy, so I would resent people saying that I am trying to make myself look different and not as white.

I like leather handbags because they last quite a while. I would not go for a plastic handbag because even though they are cheaper, they do not last that long. And you can tell the quantity. not by how fancy it looks, but by it looking classic. A good pair of leather show and a good black leather purse will last for years and because vinyl ones look the same, no one needs to know how much you paid for it.

Another standard of beauty I dont understand, hand bags, why the heck women felt beautiful when they carry an expensive hand bag, seriously expensive handbags just turn them into targets to snatchers and robbers,

That's why natural is the way to go, people who take plastic surgery look like Barbie dolls. They're so fake and just plastic! Like you said, what's so great of having really big lips, natural plump lips are nice but the ones that have been artificially fixed looked like fish lips! People are not suppose to mess with nature and something artificial can never compete with something that is natural. Natural beauty is so much more beautiful that human altered beauty. I don't get why people still do plastic surgery when they look perfectly fine. People who are growing old but still take plastic surgery simply ruins them because once your old, you don't have that young beauty anymore. But there are still some middle aged women taking plastic surgery. Some plastic surgeries don't even turn out right.

I have nothing againts plastic surgery but people who will consider it must first use their logic first, they have to know what will work with their face, Plump lips may look good with Angelina Jolie but it doesnt mean it will look good on them. On the other hand, healthy diet, self confidence, I guess a knowledge on applying make up can make a woman looks attractive without getting surgery. Another standard of beauty I dont understand, Long nails!!!they scare me, I dont found it sexy, I want my women clipped and clean.

Although I mostly agree with you TripleO, I think your opinion is a little skewed because you've only seen people who have had bad or unsuitable plastic surgery. But I've seen women and men with plastic surgery who look fantastic afterwards, and you would never be able to tell that they had it. Some of the before and afters are really incredible. Of course, it also means that these people look nothing like they did before haha. I prefer it when people who have plastic surgery have only a little bit. Things that will make them look a little younger or a little prettier, but allow them to look natural and still like themselves. And CaptAlbertWhisker - I agree. I feel like you would get a lot of icky stuff underneath your nails!

I agree! I also don't get it why many people like to follow Angelina Jolie's lips. She looks good with it but for others, I don't think so. Those who have their nose fixed is okay because it doesn't look very obvious but for the lips, it is very obvious. For the skin, those who are white wants to get a tan while those who are brown-skinned wants to get white. It's just the opposite. I guess this just shows that people aren't really contented with how they look. I don't get it at all.

There is really something wrong with fake lips, its obvious they dont belong there. There are so many women who managed to look gorgeous and sexy withtheir thin lips. did youknow there is a process known eyeball tattoing for those people who wants to have a differenteye color.

eye tattooing have huge risk to make a person blind but many people still do that cos they want to have a permanent contact lense. I heard it hurts like crazy and its the most painful tattoing process but people still do it.

Having thin lips is way nicer than thick lips. Eyeball tattoing? I haven't heard of that. Is that safe? I think that's dangerous because from the name itself, it has something to do with tattoing the eye.

Thats an interesting observation,I guess its usual cos girls might have doubts with suite wearing men cos usually men who are good in fashion prefers men over girls, Girls have tendencies to think guys who are bad in fashion were heterosexual.

I never did understand why people loved to tan so much. They'd lay there under the hot sun barely clothed and stay there for hours just to get their skin a tad darker. And now they've even inventing tanning beds where you can just lie down and have UV rays surrounding you in the comfort of your own home.

I really really agree with what you've said. I think the reason why some girls are not contented with what they have is because of the people around them. Like here in our place, in our country, Philippines, the fairer your skin is, the more noticeable you are. I'm a girl with a "tan" skin. I'm contented with what I have but some people don't seem to like me because of my skin color. Like in my experience, I saw a group of guys talking about random things, then suddenly a fair skinned girl passed by, then their reaction was "wow....." then they can't help but to look at the girl who's wearing a really short shorts with her fair skin. After that I really feel so unlucky because of my tan color. There are also some instances here wherein even if the girl is really pretty and her skin color is not that fair, they still wouldn't appreciate it. I just hate it. That's why sometimes the thing that's on my mind is I'm going to go to a place wherein my skin color is appreciated. There is also this tv show that I watched and handsome guys were interviewed about what they would like their girlfriend to be. They said that they want fair skinned girls. That made me really feel sooo sad and so hopeless to have a handsome boyfriend. Huhu. I'm contented with what I have I just wish that some people too would be contented with what they have and love themselves because there is no bad in being themselves having the physical look that they have. They just have to know the right make up, right clothes, and many more to make them stand out. Oh gosh my response is a bit long. Anyway that's all. Thanks for sharing that. Happy mylotting.

On the brightside, in western beauty standards your skin is perfect, People are western countries who have pale skin are dying to have your skin.,I think having 90% eurasian and Chinese mixed actors in our country makes our people not appreciate Natural Filipino beauty. because tv brainwashed our people to think fair skin is beautiful.

I don't agree with the surgery but more of enhancement like using only make up to enhance. I have seen a lot of ladies that became fabulous after putting on their make up. Using make up is the best for me rather than a dreadful surgery! By the way my standard of beauty is being beautiful with or without make-up.

for sure make up andhair can dowonders to women, if they can embrace their assets, for sure they can be as gorgeus as they wanted to be without knife, sexiness can be achieve if they love their selves and takes care of them selves.
