I am an avid reader and can read about 2-3 books per week. I read multiple genres and always carry a book with me. How many books do you read per week?

I used to read atleast one book a week. That was when I had all the time for it. But, these days, with my full-time job taking many hours a day, I could not take the time for reading books. All I can do now is just browse through magazines and newspapers.

Sorry you don't have time to read while working full time, just keep browsing and reading what you can when you can, its all worth it.

I don't even read one book per week these days. If I have a free day and I'm in the mood for reading I can read as much as 400 pages per day, but the thing is I don't really get those kind of days anymore. When I don't have the time, I'm thinking about all the nice things I'll be reading when I've finished my work, but then I always find something else to do. Mostly spending time online. I think the Internet is the biggest enemy of reading (books) and it does not offer half the satisfaction.

Some weeks I read too many books to count! But that's usually because I spend an hour or more a day reading to my kids and kids books are rather short. Though we are currently working on Harry Potter.

It really depends on the week and the book I am reading. If its something complex like right now I am reading The Metamorphosis ny Kafka. Its a litle more challenging that the last book I read Skin. But I.can finish 2 or 3 books a week.

Some books do take a lot longer reading, its depends on the content and how long etc they are

It depends on the week. I don't usually read more than one book a week, as I'm a slow reader. But sometimes I am able to read more than one depending on the length of the book and such.

I keep a list of the books I read over the whole year starting in Jan, I record the title, who it is by and the date I finished the book on. I also rate the book on a scale of 1 to 3. 1 being really good, 2 just good and 3 boring. I find because over the years I have read so many books that it is very hard to get a book that can be classed as a 1. My aim every year is to read at least 52 books, I do it over the year rather than weekly because sometimes I have more time to read than others and sometimes I can read a book in two days and another time depending what I am doing it may take me a week to read one book. Last year I actually read 64 books over the whole 12 months, am on target for this year as well so doing very well. Hope this helps to answer your question.

I like the idea of listing down books that I read. I always do it at the start of the year but then I always end up not committing to it. Time availability is one of the reasons why I don't get to read lots of book anymore :(

I read in bed before I go to sleep, sometimes I read early in the morning when I'm drinking my cup of tea before the children get up. I do try to take my book with me when I go places in case I get 5 mins to spare

I have not read any book for quite a time already. I guess I am quite busy with my work that I do not have time any more to read books. I used to read a lot of books when I was still in college. May it be fiction books or those related to learning. I guess times have changed and lifestyles change. I though read some books but I hardly call them books since they are more of educational books needed for some projects that I do.

At the moment, it is term time for me which means that I can't read any fiction books because I just don't have the time to get into it. If I were to read one, it would take me weeks to finish it because I wouldn't be able to read for more than perhaps half an hour before bed each night. When it isn't term time, though, I tend to read one book per week. I have an e-reader, so I am able to just buy more books whenever I feel as though I would like a new one. It's great, as it means that I never have to go to the shops and I can literally read whatever I want and whenever I want to read it.

I love reading books. But I didn't read books for a long time. I just read bits and pieces of words on the internet. This kind of reading makes me can not focus on one thing for long time. I prefer reading paper books. I feel peaceful when I read them.

I don't really like the idea of ebooks. I haven't one but have read you can't download cheap books onto them yet. I don't buy many books but go to the libaary alot. If I pay a book I like ot go to the discount book shops and buy a book for £1.99 as its cheap and I don't have alot of money ot spend on books.

I don't tend to read books. I only read maybe 1 or 2 a year. But it's mainly because I'm usually extremely busy. Back when I was much younger, I used to read a new novel every other day, so about 3-4 a week. But back then I had enough free time that I could pull that off, still have a social life, still get all my work done, and still have enough time to spend 2 hours on the computer each night. I have a lot more work now a days, so I've fallen behind on my reading quite a bit.

My husband doesn't read any more, he finds it hard to get his nose into a book. I went a while without reading a proper book for myself and when I realised this fact I was totally shocked and decided ot do something about it as I used ot read at least one book a week etc so I decided to keep a list of what I read and made a goal to work towards. I'm so glad that I did as I really love reading and writing stories

I can 2-3 books some times more depending on how big the book is and how much time I have to read. I do read alot because it is something that I like it helps me relax and it is also a good stress reliever.
