yep that is exactly how I feel, sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I have been feeling sick so long that I don't even remember what it is like to feel well anymore.
But I must be feeling better because yesterday it took the entire day to do a tv review on The Big Bang Theory" that I do for Yahoo TV, and today it took hardly any time to my weekly review for "Grey's Anatomy"
How do you measure when you are starting to feel better, we all know when we are actually better, but how do you measure when you are just starting to feel better?

I feel exactly the same way. I have been depressed for so long. Now Winter is coming on and I am feeling myself going back down again. I never have along enough time in the Summer to start feeling good again before Winter comes on. I get a small start on it and see a glimmer and then it is back to deeper gloom.

I am just depressed, plus being sick all the time means I cannot stay on the computer like I would like to and that means I can;t make money writing.

you don;t seem to understand, I don't want an answer that starts with you,
I want and answer about JLSRINE91 so the answer has to start with I because you are talking about yourself. Answering that way will help you get best responses when the poster wants a personal answer. Your answer are good though, thank you

Once you start recognizing it and accepting it as not a stressor anymore. Learn to eliminate negative thoughts, yes? it may not be as easy as eating an apple but just TRY to accept it. I'm sure you're aware that there's no such thing as quick fix that'l lead you to GREAT SUNSHINE PARADISE LIFE that you wanted to.It's really not that simple as popping some pill and waking up the next morning and dancing the Beejees "Stay Alive song" with clear from ill.
RELAX...SMILE .. i'll sing you a short piece of a song called smile ...
ehem ehem..."Light up your face with Gladness ,Hide every trace of sadness although a tear may be so near that's the time you may keep on trying ,SMILE whats the use if crying? you'll find that life is still worthwhile ...IF YOU JUST SMILE!!"
*Yeah!*

When my energy picks up and my brain fog lifts, I know I feel better. I make more sense out of life, and get more done. I also am less grouchy. Fortunately I am not sick very often so it is more likely that I get down from being really tired. Like tonight. I just started a part time job and it was a kind of long day.

I am doing product demonstrations. I will not work every weekend, but it does get busy during this time of year. I am also waiting to hear about another one that is a reviewer type position in some stores. It is a confidential job, pays well, and I have supposedly been hired.

it seems i always have some sort of something. i have fibromyalgia and severe asthma so i seldom feel 'well' and almost always feel tired for one reason or another, but i still work outside of the house 3 mornings a week so i have to pull myself together. fortunately, its only for 4 hours at a time.

i find that i know i am feeling better, when i have been feeling bad, when i find myself feeling more optimistic, and that is when i know. i usually feel very gloomy when i am feeling ill, and then i wake up and feel more optimistic then i know i am starting to feel better.
though i do get a bit scared that there is such a connection between our minds and our bodies, but that is another issue entirely.

I am under a doctor's care I see him every month
that is not what this discussion is about, I would like to know when you are sick, and just starting to get better, how do you know that you are on the mend, what is it that you personally know that makes you realize you are going to recovery in a matter of days?

Hello winterose
Sorry for your sickness...Don't feel sick although you are sick. You will get well soon.I think when we are sick, we get more care and rest but whatever we get it doesn't give us pleasure as we are on bed.But you are watching good shows that's better and this is the signal that you are getting better if you are enjoying things.
