Is John Carpenter's "Ghosts of Mars" REALLY Boring, or Am I a Net-'Workaholic'?

Tonight (around 7 pm), I dozed-off after the first 10-15 minutes of John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars (Natasha Henstridge, Jason Statham, Ice T).
But here I am--doing `net-'work' (it's work, but I do it for the fun you have
)--and I'm wide-awake! (coffee doesn't really have an effect on me anymore, none that I know of anyway)
It's been like that for the past few weeks too (I try to sit and watch television, but get antsy after several minutes until I park myself in front of the computer and 'interform' ... a word I made-up describing the method by which I mind-meld with the 'Machines-network'), so I can't blame it ALL on John Carpenter et al.'s possibly-cliche' storytelling
(how could I judge a 2 hour story from the first 7 - 15 minutes of it?
)
I think 'I'm on the right track,' but I don't know; is it weird to like Internet-work more than television? Should I write more? Watch more movies-and-television? Read more books offline?

I like listening to the tv and doing my work on the pc :D
I dont really watch and seat infront of the TV much, just listen to news or soccer games. There are times when I watch movies with friends. For me the pc replaced the TV. If I want to watch a movie I go to the cinema. Most of the times I too judge a movie from the first 15minutes but 50% of the time the movie gets interesting and its a suprise for me because a bad start doesnt mean a bad end :D

Speaking to someone who does use the net more so then anything else no it is not weird. Although for a few months I have been streaming online more, reading a bit more as I have found that I needed to balance a bit more offline some.
Same should apply to all that a bit of balance between offline and online life really needs to be done. There are lots of waking hours so I am sure we can manage a bit between all.
