What is the difference between a blog and discussions. I looked throughout the mylot guidelines and FAQ and everything under the mylot button but I see nothing showing me the difference between the two. Is there anyone that can explain this a little better for me please

My thinking is that the differences is that discussions are back and forth interactions between two or more members discussing a topic. Blogs are like articles where although we can comment to them. They are more for informative purposes.

Oh okay I think I see. So blogs are more informative where discussions are more openly. Have you ever commented on a blog or do you ever check them out?

I use to like to comment on the new sections but those have since been removed. I have on occasions opened the blogs and find me more reading them then actually commenting on them.
I have commented on a few of them but not really interested in the ones listed here too much.

I use to read and sometimes comment there but sadly it is not available for us anymore.

I commented on one or two blogs earlier. I am not sure whether I earned for commenting them. But links started appearing in my page after that. Blogs are like articles which are posted in the blog site and comments can be given by us. Discussions are good that there can be positive and negative ways in which a situation is analysed.

Discussions: we are being paid directly by myLot for our participation.
Blogs: we aren't being paid directly by myLot :P. But we may earn later from traffic or network that we build.

I try to submit my blog in there but sadly they don't want a personal blog so I lost my interest on that section. Now I am more active in the discussion here plus I blog hop at the same for my blog to get a traffic. Yes I multitask doing responding here and blogging at the same time!
