2 Passion for a Job. Graphic Design or Article Writer -- Which One is Better?

I have 2 passion. One is graphic design and article writer. My first option is graphic design and my second option is to be an article writer. I see lots of job offers on a freelancing site about article writer and same as for graphic design for photoshop, and I knew how to create simple editing and designing images. In my heart, I really like to work as a graphic designer, but I am not that professional. I am good in creating simple design and edit images from adobe photoshop, so to be expert in that field, I have to practice hard and study all of it because I must have broad knowledge when using adobe photoshop. I really like to work as a graphic designer, but studying all of them takes more than a month not like article writer. I knew how to create article -- just a simple article. I could study the english grammar and punctuation, and practice it to enhance my skill and I knew, it would take a less than a month because all you have to do is to study the english grammar and punctuation. Besides, I already study it during my high school life, but I really like to take a job as a graphic designer.
Time is money and I heard -- I am not sure -- that writing an article pays more than a graphic designer. So based on your experience, if you have this 2 passion -- which one would you choose and why?
In my heart, I really want to work as a graphic desginer, but in my mind tells me that I should choose to work as an article writer so that it would not be a hassle at all. I just study the english grammar and punction and then, I am ready to work not like graphic design -- there is a lot of lesson to be learned and practice that would take more than a month if using adobe photoshop.

I have not really tried making money from graphic designing, Because I only use my designs for my own website and Not sell them. But if graphic designing is your first love. You should study every bits and pieces about it before you can work as a professional graphic designer. While on article writing, all you have to do is think of an interesting article and publish it to a website where they pay you for your articles once somebody views it. It's pretty easy but you really have to work hard for you to be able to gain a lot of readership.

Decision making is one of the most important and hard thing to do for anyone in this life and especially in your case here, you don't seem to be an expert in any of these and so you can be in both and take opportunities whichever you get.Graphic designers are highly in demand and people who are good can just mint money by being in this field and the same applies in article writing as even this will fetch you very good money for writing good innovative articles which catches people's attention.

Graphic design I think would be better because they are in demand.

The two are complimentary. You don't have to choose one or the other as a freelancer: you can offer your services as both a writer and designer. You just fill up your work time with whatever offers you get. Diversification can be a good thing.
If people want a writer, write. If they want a designer, design. Unless you're applying direct (e.g. if you're using the bidding sites) you can apply for both types of work.
I've only worked as a writer (I have no design talent) but both are in demand.
When I posted my job recently for a book editor, I had replies from people offering just editing but also a couple from people who also offered cover design and formatting (which I didn't need, since I'd already worked with an illustrator before and wanted to use her services again).
Since you enjoy both, it'll be cool to switch and change, too - you'll be less likely to get bored.

I think graphic designing will give you more money than article writing but yes if you are having a group then both works better.Just test in which you are the best to work and having most interest.You will indeed get benefited.

How about if you make some article about your design? Write an Photoshop tutorial articles.That will work I guess, or maybe you can do both things at the same time and that will pay you a lot. If your not comfortable doing that, just follow what your heart and your passion

Take the subject which you have aptitude for.Having two likes and being good at them both means you are an all rounder.I don't have much idea how much a graphic designer gets paid,but I am assuming its good.Similarly a good article writer is well paid.You start with being an article writer as you say you are prepared.In the meantime, please hone your graphic designing skills as you have something to fall back on.

good for you to have two passions. I know you are having difficulty in making your decision but you know what you just have to think what best suits you. once you have decided, then prioritize that decision and just make the other choice as your sideline work you know. It's easy. If you go as a graphic designer, then I guess you can't be that busy to write an article in your free time right? Just try to be a multi-tasker and it will really bring you to places.
