Are you talking about the Japanese one or the one with richard gere, American version? I have heard my friends talk about it too and how they would want a dog like Hachiko..I'll be sure to check it out sometimes since the dog is so cute.

Hi Jojo! I have watched the Japanese original version of this last year. It was really a sad, sad movie. I cried buckets of tears while watching this. My heart went out for Hachiko. I wanted a dog like him. If only Akita can live here in our country's weather... Hachiko's loyalty to his master is really touching and inspiring. I wish our dog would be like that.

Ya.. Its really a good movie based on a japanese story.. I loved the film(English) very much and it was really very depressing..Richard gere was just superb as always.. And I'm sure its a movie which can stir you heart to a whole new level of sadness.. :-(

Hachiko is a very touching story. I don't know any person who watched it who wasn't touched. I am very sure whoever watches it will be moved somehow in a way. At first, I never thought a dog could be an object of drama but it really amazed me in the end of how this dog remain loyal and faithful.
