with the rapid development of science and technology, we human beings have stepped into high-tech age. In the information age, we are involved in the Internet. most of us spend most of our spare time on surfing the Internet that are harmful to all rather than do some sports which are good to us. sometimes, we have realized that it did cause harm but we can't help being attracted by it for no reasons. we do not understand why. maybe it is power of modern science and all of us will take it for granted. some scientists foretold that people will change into potato age, that is to say, we humans will change into a strange creatures, having a big head and our fours will be disappeared . That is so horrible. So for this question, what is your opinion? do you really think that one day we are no longer humans ourselves but changed into a strange creatures?

its true that internet changed our life. but as everything else, something new will bring us positive and negative side. but we as human being must be able to tell the difference to avoid the negative side more and using the internet for positive things. i think its up to each individuals to choose for using the internet or being used by the internet.

Well then I think that some scientists are not very confident in the human race, which is a little offensive. Internet is a tool like any other. If some people choose to over-indulge in something to the point where it is negatively affecting their life, then that is the choice of the person. I surf the internet all the time and I still do yoga every day; try to eat right; take my vitamins. We can't place blame on an inanimate thing. Yes, internet has changed the way that we do things, but so has a lot of inventions. With the advent of cars, the population didn't just turn into balloons. The rise of technology led to the super health trend. ....And no, I do not think that we will metamorphose.

I don't think so. Indeed, Internet has changed our life so thoroughly that some people are addicted to it. Yet it doesn't mean that internet can change the structure of our bodies. As far as i know, it takes millions of years to swap one kind of creature 's body. The internet has only been invented for several decades. As the wireless tech upgrades, people will needn't to sit in front of coumputer to browse information.

No one wants to be that creature, because that creature will not be able to live long. Being always on the computer or internet , would make one sedentary thus, health will deteriorate. Well, internet has changed me a lot. I now have a way of expressing my ideas, without being lambasted by anybody because that's against Mylot's guidelines.

Hi! I agree with you. Internet has really change our lives. It can either have a positive or negative effect. Internet has been a mode of communication and knowledge but it has also influenced a lot of children with their relationship with their parents. Teens nowadays spend more time in the internet than talking to their parents. Internet is useful . You just have to use it properly,

Hi conquer, if we human being still keep spending majority of our time in front of the pc surfing net, such weird phenomena might happen in the coming future I think. As one would know exactly how great such high tech era would make the change to human life. Nowadays almost all works and errands depend on internet compared to those days without internet. People regardless woman and man, young and old so indulge in web surfing most of the time. And computer with network are not available in workplace, internet center, shopping center, public, etc, it is found as well in almost every resident in well developed areas. It's glad that there are various types of latest advanced cellphones popping up every now and then. They have the functions and feature similar to pc, and could be said very much better than pc. Moreover they are smaller, lighter and lighter and are convenient to bring along whenever and wherever we are. With these great devices, people also can surf net easily wherever they are, of course they could enjoy their outdoor physical activities together with this handy device with them. For there isn't any restriction of space anymore to surf net. hopefully having normal healthy outdoor activities every now and then wouldn't cause the so-called scary potato age in the coming future Have a nice day and happy posting

You're completely correct when you say that the internet has changed our lives. I think that the person who first had the idea of the internet should be the richest person in the world, because the idea has changed our lives forever and I know that we will never be able to live in the same way that we did in the past ever again. We shop online, earn money online, manage our bank accounts online and now even chat to our friends online; there's nothing that we can't do, and I think that it is the most amazing thing in the world.

Internet has definitely changed our lives. Many people cannot even live without it. But from time to time, I'd like to separate myself from it. I'm thinking that when I retire, I'd like to really move myself off the grid, live in a quiet place, with only nature as your entertainment.

I agree with you. Internet totally changed my life. It's really useful and it became easier for me to chat and talk to my old friends from school days. Our life is easier because of Internet, and it is also easier to answer some projects and homework lol . But it surely affect my eyesight. It's totally blurred now.

Yes, of course technology had improved our standard of living. We have better life than our previous generation, it is all because of improvement in technology. Internet has both advantages and disadvantages. It matters how we handle it.Internet made the world too shorter. It had people to stay connected with each other. But the other side, we lost our real relationship in family !!! Previously we used to have food with our family, now it had totally changed, we just hang before internet. I think the real love and affection has reduced because of technology advancement

Innovation in Science and technology especially this so called Internet has a great impact into our daily lives. People tend to ave sedentary lifestyle, sitting in front of the monitor for almost whole day without having some walk outdoors. It makes every people all over the world have easy exchange of communication. However, I disagree on the thing that this change will end up to us human become strange creature. How would that happened? Want do you really mean? Take care

Indeed, the internet has altered our lives as we once knew it. In some cases, it has been for better, in others, for worst but whatever the case, we will definitely never ceased to be humans. We will not be changed into strange creatures though we may develop some strange ideas and maybe even some strange behaviors. What the internet has successfully acheive is the de-sensitizing of the common man. We find it normal to post every possible action (good, bad and indifferent)on the internet with no regards to its usefulness or its appropriateness. A few more years of internet and who knows what types of content will be available. Strange people, strange ideas and strange behaviors sounds like the future.

My mom used to work as a reference librarian. She gave readers the information that they wanted or told them where to find it. Nowadays we can use a search engine on the Internet. Then all the information comes up in front of us. I used to have to have paper train time tables now I can look at the train times on the Internet. I can use the Internet to find the cheapest train fares. I can look at airfares on-line and choose the best deal. I can check out accommodation on-line too. I can look at tourist information on-line to plan my sightseeing. I think that the Internet must be used in moderation not all day long. Exercise is important or we could all turn into strange creatures one day in the future. That is evolution for you hey.

In my mind this is more of a social problem than a technology issue. It is like cookies in a cookie jar. Companies make products and promote them. They look good, smell good, taste good but what people do with them is another story. Products can be abused and if someone did nothing but eat cookies then that could be less than beneficial. Technology has responded to needs for children at least by bringing out interactive tools where children dance around. Socially people must gather for exercise or have their own outlet and this might well be determined more by environment than technology. If people are encouraged to stay indoors and remain quiet because the air is bad then that is a trend they can follow. In this case yes people can change but I think the result will just be poorer health.
