Chelsea benefited from the draw at anfield between Man Utd and Liverpool to move within a point of Manchester United in the third place. Thanks to a wonderful performance by Juan Mata, Chelsea professionally brushed aside the Everton challenge 3-1. This keeps them in the chase for the title. Cheers! Ram

It seems that Villas-Boas is starting to make a stamp on the style of Chelsea, and the results seem to come. I consider Villas-Boas the smartest coach from the younger generation and I am sure that he will be legendary, if he isn't legendary yet. I guess Chelsea will be fighting till the end and they will be great competitors to the two Manchester teams.

Of course, AVB is very young. He is going to celebrate his 34th b'day soon. So in that sense he is really a Young Achiever already. Cheers! Ram

Yes, I heard that Mourinho is his mentor. So that would really explain the hunger to win. But of course, till now his press conferences are not as explosive as Mourinho's. :) Cheers! Ram

Yes, he has won many things in his young career already. I guess he learned a lot from the gentleman Sir Bobby Robson( he learned to be a humble person) and from Mourinho( he learned how to win, no matter what) and combined this in a unique style which I am sure that will make him a great coach.

First of all I'm not a Chelsea fan ana I'm not that much enthusiastic about their victory over Everton.. But ya its commendable..They played well and the new inclusion Juan Mata is kind of revelation in Chelsea..He is linking well with Sturridge and the duo is the main reason of their recent victories.. But I'm very Disappointed with Chelsea for not playing Torres at the start.. He is my best player and he needs to be played... :(

Which club do you support? Juan Mata has really stepped up to the plate for Chelsea and is catching people's eye. And the good thing is that he is so young. Cheers! Ram

I support Arsenal Football club. But as I am neutral to the English game, I usually follow whoever plays good football. But for the style of play, I prefer Arsenal and Barcelona. Cheers! Ram

Yes, he can pretty much celebrate. They are getting better with each game. But their real test is against the bigger sides. Cheers! Ram

Chelsea may have a chance in the CL this season but in the EPL I think not, they drop too much points against the fantastic 4, or is it now 5... whatever, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, ManU and ManCity

Like I said last time, it is still really early days and for the likes of Chelsea and United there is a lot of football still to be played with Europe around the corner, more International friendlies and Euro 2012 & Afcon qualifiers etc. It is going to be a lose season, City will drop some points soon as well and I feel they will draw to a bottom feeder in the coming weeks. It is always a good thing to watch when things are close and go down to the wire, this should be no different.

I agree that this season is going to be a very close one. I think this time it is going to be about consistency. Especially against the weaker teams, it is necessary to keep picking up the points. Cheers! Ram

well, yes Chelsea and Juan Mata have shown great performance and they really keep them in the title race against all big boys..I hope Arsenal can wake up and get stronger to move on top of table.. I have seen there are about 7 clubs playing almost at the same level now..Man United, City,Chelsea,Spurs, Liverpool,Newcastle and should be Arsenal..I wonder what would be the final result when Spurs playing against Newcastle at late hours today..

Arsenal did win their match, but only just. They were actually very poor, but Sunderland was poorer. The only two bright spots were Van Persie's finish and the three points. Cheers! Ram

The competition is being more intense! I hope Chelsea can keep their performance until the end of the league . EPL is really a great league. Everything may happened here. I even can't guess which team will be the winner on this season..

Yes, I think this season would be one of consistency. The team that is more consistent will win the championship. Right now I see it as a three horse race between Chelsea and the two Manchester teams. Cheers! Ram
