Hi, i have heard that being a teacher will not earn much for one.
However, you finish work at 5pm yet you say you don't have free time for yourself? i think finishing work at 5pm is one of the earliest time in my country already. you are already so lucky to have the rest of the evening for yourself!

Hello VOVA,
In my country teaching job is known to be the most respectable job. They do have lots of holidays and they work for 6~8 hours depending on the school rules. As per the salaries it depends on the school and the person then also they have the opportunity to earn more through tuitions at home. There are lot of teachers in INDIA who are earning more than the engineers or other professionals.
In your case you need to change the school or you should start teaching higher classes may be you need some higher qualification for it and you should do that so that you may have the opportunities to earn more.As far as for the timings i too work for aroung 12 hrs in a day but dear thats life and you have to take time from remaining 12 hours to your family and other works and that is time management.

It's normal of you to think about this, cause you just got this job.But i do not suggest doing this.Teacher is a rather a good job compared with others. It's like a stable job.Try to think about that, when you have summer vacations but they do also pay you some money, isn't that great? Just try to think about it carefully when you finally make a decision.Good luck.

For me the most hard and noble work will be a Teacher. I know that after the days of teaching you should study also at home and make a lesson planner it is a pretty hard work me , luckily I change my direction and look for another.
But if you had a passion about it why not think twice before you quit, after you quit there is no turning back that's why you should think for it first!

I personally feel that " You get more free time when you work as a teacher". I work in an IT concern. I feel like teacher job is far better than any other job. Above all u will not have any kind of stress in your job
If u want to earn more money, try looking for any part time job, which may yield additional income to you

For me the most important thing is for one to hae a job that one is happy about. Obviously you are not happy because of the low pay and the long hours. Some teachers are happy in spite of that. So, it must mean that teaching is not what's in our heart. But then, what would you like to do? Do you have any idea? You can go on a try different things until you find that one thing that can make you happy. It can be a trial and error kind of method. That's what I did and I landed the job I love and I've been doing for five years.

I'm working in a private company, just like you I barely had time to spend with my family. I go to work around 9 am then go home past 6 pm. Since we are on a commercial business, we even have to go to work during Sundays, though on a skeletal force. As one of the key officers in our organization we are always on call, meaning anytime the management needs to talk to us or ask us to report to work even on our day off we have no choice but to report to work. I have been meaning to change my job, maybe working for another company or putting up my own business. I have been with my current company for 4 years now and it really saddened me that turnover of positions in our company is just so fast of course for the very obvious reason, we are not well compensated.
If given a better opportunity I will surely resign from my work and take a chance on that better opportunity. Sometimes being loyal to a company does not benefit you in a way you are hoping it should be.

AT least you have Saturday and Sunday as your free time my friend. Me, on Saturdays i still have to report to work from 9-12 am. I feel that it's a waste of fare to just report to work for 3 hours on that day, but what can i do, it's my job.
And at least you get to go home earlier than me. Our dismissal is at 6pm and usually i would arrive home 7pm . But still, i enjoy working because i get to help my husband and be able to buy things i want for myself.
Maybe you try going to bed early so you can wake up early in the morning and not get lethargic for the whole day.

You have such a good job, 2-day weekends, winter and summer vacations and not bad salary and walfare etc. I have to get up at 6:30am every working day(from Monday to Saturday) in the morning and back home after 6:30pm every evening. Of course our salary is not high, no allowance, no annual holiday, if we ask for leave, the salary, the perfect attendance bonus as well as the year-end bonus will be deducted, which is totally unfair.
