Today I'm so down...How will you react when a work colleague is rude to you in front of customers? Both of us know that he is the one in the wrong and doesn't apologize?

You can report his wrong doing to your supervisor or maybe in your HR department so that he may not do it again. And you won't be in a situation to fight him back that in the end you'll be sorry. You should have a healthy workplace towards your fellow worker so you should act now. Settle things positively with your supervisor.
