I had this really weird dream today. I saw one of my best friends and she framed me for some crime she had committed and the cops took me away I was then held captive in a house which was actually a jail. I tried telling her to not do this to me but she just left me there
Ok I know this was just a dream but why was it that way? She has never done anything even close to that before and is actually very supportive. But for some reasons this dream has been bothering me since morning.
So please tell me if I should be worried?

I am not sure if you'll worry or not. Actually that was just a dream or a nightmare maybe. Dreams are actually just our memories being mixed together. When we dream, we most likely see that we are in a certain place where we already have been and we tend to navigate ourselves around and make decisions. It can be compared to a video game.
Those crimes, cops and jail stuffs came from your memories also. It probably came from movies and stories that you've watched. As I said, dreams are mixtures of our memories.
Let me share my experience, though its kinda different. I think some dreams are prophetic which some people call vision. When I was young, I had dreamed of myself standing in front of the staircase of our house. I was about to have my step to the second floor when I suddenly floated very fast. I floated and reached the ceiling, after that, I crash landed on our second floor which gave me some kind of pain all over my body as if I was electrocuted and woke me up.
I considered that as a vision of my future. I think it was like the saying, "If you soar in the air very high, you'll fall at the same extent." The weird thing is, I dreamed of it two times. I wonder if it will happen to me really in the future two times also.

Hi thatgirl!
What kind of shows are you watching? Maybe you have watched something like this on tv and somehow it made an impact to you and remained in your subconsciousness that's why you dreamed about it. ^^ Or maybe you have read something like this scene.
I don't think there should be anything to be worried of. It's just a dream. If you trust that your friend will never do something like that to you, then it won't happen in real life. Just treat it as a dream and nothing more.

Hi thatgirl, Although I've found that dreams often have a meaning, and maybe a message, it isn't always what we think. There is probably little chance that your friend will try to frame you, but you may discover another meaning if you give it some thought. In any case I don't think that you have cause for worry. Blessings.

Thank you so much for the comfort. I have heard somewhere that some dreams foretell the future sometimes so that got me worried. But I don't think I have anything to worry about coz we have been friends since the 1st grade and I have to believe she won't bail on our friendship now.
Thanks a lot

No need to worry. A dream is just what it says it is, a dream. They are harmless. What is going on is very simple. The human brain is like a computer, it stores information, lots of information, like memories, thoughts, movies you watched, books your read, you name it, it stores it. When we sleep our sub concise comes to life and puts things together in a way that we may not comprehend. I think it is the brain putting the information into the virtual folders where they belong, so on the way to being put away, the dreams seem strange. It could also be something simple or stupid, like a conversation you had with your friend, that the brain morphed into this wired dream.

Hi thatgirl13, since she is your best fried and you know that she hasn't done any undesired thing like what had happened in the dream. And this would never occur in your real life therefore just let go the whole thing. Moreover a dream is always a dream. Might be the situation in the dream similar to that happened in movies or books you had watched or read respectively had left a deep expression. So the same phenomena would occur in your dream but the rule was different It's not worth to let the unreal situation in the dream to disturb your peaceful life.
Have a nice day and happy posting

lkbooi,in saying that you should relax more,do not be too concerned about that dream, happy live each day.You have not told you the dream of the friend, you do such a dream?Think you have the time,if you tel your friends that you have done that kind of a dream, think about what he thought? However, before you tell him,it is best to think clearly. You like, you dream of the friend how it going?Relationship okay,I do not want you two relations are very bad, because the dream from your sleep can be seen, your best friend with him,or else you will not be in a dream, dream him.Think about why dream is not other people, but he was, right.

Well, I wouldn worry about such a dream. I would focus on the feelings the dreams produced, and work out what I was really worrying about in my subconscious.
Dreams meinly deal with feeling more than real events. But there again, sometimes dreams can indicate the future. But if they do indicate the future, there is no point in worrying about something that we can't change. And if we can change it, then the dream wouldn't have been about the future in the first place!
As a therapist, I had held dream workshops and have found that dreams can be revealing if we share them and talk about what they are telling us. _Derek

Hi.. Yes, it is OK to ask, but dreams are not something that can have the same meaning for everyone. There are some people who have written dream-analysis, but this rarely works for everyone. Each part of a dream, each person in a dream relates to each part of your personality and character. That is, the way you would handle situations and how you emotionally respond to situations. In the workshops we would focus on each element and each person in the dream and the dreamer would get to know that part of themselves that was buried in the subconscious mind. That's an easy description of what happened, but it often got quite complicated, because a person would very often resist what they themselves were seeing in the dream. Therefore, it is always best to work with somebody who can guide you through the process. It could take a very long time via the written word on line or by e-mail, but in a workshop working face to face with a therapist, it could all be resolved in an hour or two, or less sometimes. _Derek

Don't worry, if she frame you for some crimes, police come to get you and throw you in jail, i will pay you a visit and bail you out in no time. I will also put up a defense team for you to counter sue your friend for framing you in the dream. You will be alright, i will not let you rot in the jail without fighting for your rights to be free from her.

Hi, my friend! If you dream of her framed you, it wouldn't worried me that much, after all you are still alive, if she had you killed in that dream, then i may have to worry about that, because in that case, i can't do much to bring you back into this world anymore, and even all your commentators told you not to worry, it is just a dream, i will still very concern and worry about it, i just lose a friend from MYLOT in her dream.

Not really, that is only a dream. Sometimes our dreams could play mind tricks and on usand make us worry and think about them, god knows that has happened to me on numerous occassions. I especially have one particular dream, in which I find myself falling and drowning, the funny part is, it is in the exact same spot all the time. Most of the time I wake up in a fright and panicing with shortness of breathe. But after so many time of the reoccuring dream I relax a bit and just go back to sleep and don't even bother thinking about it twice. But at first, I always thought that this was the place that I would drown so in my mind I stopped going to that park, it's been years since I have visited it.
Dreams could be a bit scary and nerve wrecking at times.

Well, seems to me you have been having heaps of wierd/bad dreams lately and these past months - so no surprises there.. They're just dreams, and OFTEN mean nothing. I just think your mind is not chillin', and is creating negative situations/images in your dreams, so it will tend to worry you. I don't think you should worry. It's not like it's "dejavu" or something. :P

Hello Thatgirl,
You don't need to worry at all as it was just a dream and dreams are always imaginary thats why they are called dreams.
I think you might have seen some movie last night or have read something like this in the news thats why i think you had imagined it while sleeping.

hi there girl!
i think there's nothing really to be worried about.
although dreams tend to be continuation of what we had in our real life.
hmm.. unless if you have issues with this friend?
sometimes dreams foretell us something but so far with all my weird dreams nothing bad really happened.
just Pray before you sleep at night.

Well that depends on whether you've ever had premonition type dreams before. If you have, I might worry a little. Although it does not mean things will happen literally the way they did in the dream, something heartbreaking could be about to happen. Perhaps a betrayal of some sort by this friend?

Well not every dream that we remember is a premonition. If you have a lot of deja vu, I think you probably have had a few premonition dreams and not realized it. It took me many years to realize that a lot of my deja vu (not the day to day stuff but those rare moments that knock you for a loop like OMG!) came from dreams that I had sometime earlier. Funny thing with my deja vu is the timing is waaay off. I never know when something is going to happen or what part of the dream is the part to come true. So when I have a strong dream I just stay on full alert for the next few weeks. (Example: during the summer I had a dream and in one part of it a kid I knew in school got shot in the arm and suddenly had a cast on it. Later that next school year, that very kid fell while playing basketball and broke his arm therefore - ending up in a cast!)
Most dreams however, are nothing to worry about. The average dream is created from bits and pieces of our day as well as the emotions we are storing. A strong dream like this could simply mean that you have felt upset about something, perhaps without realizing how upset you really were, and it just manifested as a nightmare.

I would be so devastated if she were to ever betray me.

Anyway I guess I don't have anything to worry about coz I truest her. Thanks

I think you are just bothered because she is getting to be too supportive, and you feel there is something wrong about it. At the back of your mind you must be thinking that there are things attached. After which, you bring this thought into your sleep, thus the dream. I think you do not have to worry about anything. Rather, just relax, but always be vigilant and aware.

Dreams are the reflection of the truth whether directly or indirectly. Maybe your bestfriend will do something unusual or something bad to you. But sometimes, they said that dreams are the opposite of exact truth. So that's the time you should relax, it's up to you how you will condition your mind.
