My Shoes! - This is a picture of my shoes that I had put on at 2 am and then thought what am I doing. See what happens when you stay up late and watch movies and drink to much coffee!

Do you ever stop and say to yourself "what am I doing???" I did that the other night but it was more like "What the Hell are you doing???" "Seriously?" I was laying on my leather sofa snuggled up with my zebra blanket watching District 9 and reading a new book during commercials. The movie started at 11pm on Show Case, finished at 1:30am. My alarm is set for 6:40 am so like yeah! The movie finishes, I turn the tv off and finish my chapter. Turn lights off in the living room and head into the kitchen to put my coffee cup away and turn off the stove light. Then I spot my new shoes... which I reach out and grab, I grab the gel insoles and start putting my shoes on...Then the thought hits me "what am I doing???" "it's 2 am and I'm trying on shoes" "Seriously???" Ugh! LOL ~psst that's the shoes, I was gonna clomp around in at 2 am...

OMG this reminded me about this one time and no not at band camp, lol But I was so burnt out at this job I had. I worked my tootsies off and then having to come home cook dinner, homework with the kids, housework, etc.. and it only being me. But anywho this one time the kids and I decided to take the evening slower then usual so while they did their homework, I laid on the couch. I could not believe it but I ended sleeping for almost 3 hours. By then the kids were in their bedrooms playing and being that it was so quiet, I jumped up and started to get frantic and ran upstairs to get clothes ready for work and as I started to run the down the stairs to jump in the shower for work, it hit me, what the hooey it is only 9pm. It is not the morning yet. lol Well I laughed for a split second but then I thought man like is just too hard.

LOL completely off topic but I just took a look at your profile and saw the all about you thingy. I am going to take sometime out and redo mine as some of the banners in mine I no longer use. But yup straight up and to the point. Okay as for what we have done with the lapse of time, man it happened a couple times and did I so feel foolish running down the stairs to get the workday started to have one of the kids say hello mom, please wake up as it is Saturday. lol Got to love our kids! Thank you kindly for the BR!

Are you refering to the ~fellow Mylotters~ or the background colors? If it't fellow mylotters I was right choked with trying put HTML in, I am seriously not bright when it comes to that now, it was easy peasy when MSN had "groups" and I did assistant management to groups but raise a child and suddenly it's Dora not HTML. Oh your welcome for the BR, I like the way your write/respond!

Oh My Gosh HWG! I've done the exact same thing, I fell asleep folding laundry on my bed and then woke up, it said 8:30 and I thought 8:30 am and I had a freak-out thinking I was late and my kid needed lunch packed, clothes found and I would have to rush out the door in winter gear. I went into her room and the bed was made and she wasn't there, it was dark in the house... next freak-out Where's my kid. She was down stairs in the dark with the volume of the tv turned down because she didn't want to wake me up for my nap. Gotten into a her jammies cause it was jammie time (Max and Ruby on treehouse meant jammie time) Sweet Heart! so it was actually 8:30 at night, still late for a kindergartener and I still had to make supper. Got a laugh out myself--- once again! My daughter actually lectured me on why she would never go out in the winter time in jammies- cuz kids die mom from the cold! Yup nothing like a 4 1/2 lecturing the mom!

I was talking some strange stuff off the top of my head a few weeks ago, it was crazy. I looked in the mirror at myself and my eyes were swollen, watery and red. I felt agitated, so I checked myself and my heart was racing a little bit not much. I had an antihistimine and I was on new cholesterol medicine, so I imagine that's what it was.

Yikers! I hope so, maybe ask your pharmasist if the meds work together or not... some stuff get a pretty wonky reaction.

I don't know, it was probably something going on internally that made me weird, i hope it don't happen again.

I think that we all do things from time to time that we're not entirely sure just why we're doing them. A lot of the time, we will find ourselves engaging in activities which have absolutely nothing to do with the tasks that we should be doing at the time, and that is an issue that I have to deal with a lot during the course of my life. You should make sure that you get everything done in your life that you need to, and then you won't have to worry about the other things that you do, because you'll have the time in which to do them.

Hey Gemma you sound like a smart cookie! I sometimes get side tracked and end up doing something different than I should be doing. It't true get the stuff done you should do and then there is playtime to do what you want to do. Right now I should be paying bills via online and then dishes... rather play at mylot than do dishes... Yup I am being a bad girl but the keyboard's tapping and the smell of coffee is so good!

it's true, when we look back at some of the things we have done in the past we stop and shake our heads and then have a good laugh at it. There has been many times myself and my friends have shared good laughter at what each of us have done. Keep smiling!

how old are you? I think it is not a problem if it did not happen frequently. I never was like that but I have seen some people. they always forget things they just do and do not know why they do that. If you think it seriously, plz go to the doctor for advise.
