A lot of people don't anymore but I still do. I don't iron the wash and wear ones as well as my husband's work jeans but I do iron most of my family's clothes. My friend said i should stop it as it does hurt my arm and back sometimes and I said I would but I just couldn't stand the clothes wrinkles. I think i have some kind of OCD for it. How about you? Do you still get your clothes ironed or are you one of those who don't care at all about it?

When I was still a student, I normally would iron my clothes and that includes my whole family's clothes. But since I have moved out, I just send my clothes to the laundry and they will press it on their end.

Yes,I do iron clothes that needs to be ironed.
I do it myself and not in laundry houses.
I like my dress to be pressed esp those crumpled ones.
I don't like wearing crumpled newly washed dresses.
have a good day

Hi gicolet, I do less and less ironing nowadays. I do my best not to buy clothes that easy get wrinkles. But there are still some cotton cloths like tshirts, etc which are easy wrinkly after washing. I like them because they are made of material that are good in absorbing sweat. But it's sad that they need to be ironed before wearing. Yeah, it's really indecent if putting on wrinkled clothes when going out I think it's okay to wear them with wrinkles doing gardening work at home.
Have a nice day and happy posting

I will iron something crushed or wrinkled if I'm going out but for just around home it's not important.
I try to hang stuff on the line carefully and then I fold it or hang it straight away so it doesn't become wrinkled because I can find better ways to spend my time rather than ironing...lol.

Hi gicolet!
I don't iron my clothes because I pay someone to do it for me. But I don't get all my clothes ironed, only those that I use at work or when I'm going out.
Back when I was in college though, I used to do my own laundry and I did not iron my clothes at all. I was too lazy to do it and it consumed a lot of time so I just fold my clothes nicely so that when I wear them, they wouldn't look not ironed at all.

I still iron the clothes and it is a household chore I actually like doing. I iron all the clothes that aren't wash and wear. Towels in particular feel fluffier and softer if ironed. I do iron my jeans, but don't crease them as some of my aunts did. I don't crease a lot of clothes any more, I do iron and crease long sleeved shirts (short sleeved shirts I don't like the sleeves creased) though, with one crease down the centre I really do not like it when shirts have more then one crease. To each their own.

Yes. It depends on the clothes. If its not that crumpled, I do not iron it especially if I'm only going to wear it inside our house but if I'm going somewhere and I need to look presentable, of course, I do iron my clothes, my blouses, my shirts, and some that needs to be ironed but I don not iron my jeans, and other clothes that looks good even when not ironed because I would only waste my time and effort ironing it. :D

I only iron my clothes if I think they are especially wrinkly or if I need to wear something to a formal event. I mostly just hang everything up to dry to prevent wrinkles. I don't really care enough about the wrinkles clothes get after folding to iron them.
If you like ironing and the look of ironed clothing, then I say go for it! It's all about what you prefer. I just don't care, so I don't do it haha.

I mostly "iron" my clothes with my hands. I take them out of the washing machine, don´t dry them in a machine but hang them one by one. Then I use my hands to stretch the seams, to put them well in the hanger and so on. Only a few garments will need an iron after that, mostly ethnic cotton clothes I buy in Summer when I travel.
When my husband was alibve, I ironed the shirts, but still not all of them but maybe a little at the collars and cuffs.
The amount of energy of the world used in irons is incredible and man made fabrics don´t usually need it. I also gave away (to my eldest daughter with 3 kids) my dryier. I either sun dry my clothes or leave them in my bathroom in Winter. They dry overnight and wear better.

the only time I personally iron is when I need to iron for special occassions or dressy shirts or slacks for my husband and/or son as well as any semi-formal and/or formal clothing for my daughter and myself. Luckily lately clothing are made that there is no need for ironing pull them out of the dryer and they are ready to be worn. Thank god for that could you imagine having to iron clothing for the entire family, that would probably take all day.

Only if my work clothes need to be ironed I will iron them otherwise I honestly couldn't care about the rest as I hate ironing.
