Has anyone seen the thing scary movie yet if so how was it ?

I heard of the old version from the 80s, didn't know they were making a new one. But the story sounds interesting, a shape-shifting alien which is hard to track since it changes shape all the time. You should definitely watch it since effe4cts now are better than before.

ive never seen the old version or the new version im looking forward to seeing it when it comes out on dvd hurd it was pritty good check out my parenormal activity 3 discussion let me know what you think

sorry for this late reply... Maybe you already saw it... But anyhow I have to say this..This is one of the good films I saw..John Carpenter is really a good dirctor and he showed us what he is capable of by this film..The acting from Kurt Russel is also great...

no ..not yet.. i only seen the 80s version ..directed by legendary director .JOhn Carpenter....which was very good..and a classic.. so this new THE THING is actually a prequel.(to show how found the alien) ..ive seen the trailers..seems alright.. i will see for sure if it opens here..in Malaysia.. will let u know .
