A lot of times I wish I could cry especially when I am in distress for so many financial burden and things that's happening in my life. Being a tough person doesn't mean that you do not cry. But sometimes, because of what I've been through, I would just held my head high and show people that I am not affected with what they are doing. I wanted to show them that I am ready to fight for my right and my dear life and will never be affected with their threats and nasty words. For this situations, I keep my tears for myself only.
But then when I am alone, especially when I am travelling, my tears flowed instantly even when I am in a bus. I also cried when I see my mother hurting for all my struggles. I cried to her because I know she will understand me best and I know she will outrightly help me in her own small way. After crying, I feel better and ready to face the world again.
Do you feel the same?

Hey I have been through tough times too. I remember myself sitting in the Church as the priest is preaching and felt my tears rushing down my cheeks - and I was surely in pain. At one time, I was on the bus and thinking about my problems, and I was crying too, good thing my shades was on and I've had to pretend I was just wiping my face from dirt not from tears.
Oh my you just reminded me of my greatest problem :( good thing I was over it now and I can gladly say I have survived. But then again, another problem comes - but I try to keep my mind sane and think positive that things will fall to its right places one day ^^ Cheer up and don't let this problems eat you up ^^

oh and may I add... yes crying made me feel better because it releases the pain you are feeling but just remember that it doesn't solve the problem. It just helps us forget the problem for awhile because we got tired from crying and then we sleep lol ^^

I also cry when i cannot keep all the hard feelings from my heart. I know this can't help my problems but It relieves me somehow. Then I feel i shed all the heartaches, sorrows, and complaints. One thing i don't like when i cry is it gives me a swollen eyes that i can't open my eyes fully open.

I usually cry to ease up the hurt and the burden of my heart. Burdens that caused by some problems that occur in our day to day living here on Earth. Pains brought by failed relationship or by rejection of some people around me. As i cry, it seems as if I'm talking to God and lifting up to Him all the sorrows and pain i felt inside. Then after that, a feeling of relief fall into place.

I do agree that being tough doesn;t mean that we dont cry.
I don't cry a lot from my problems. I cried when I saw movies, and so on so on.
I cry when my bf got problems. when I got problems I tend to fix it first. weary myself up until I reach point I can not do anything anymore.
after I finished, usually I cry. then I feel void for awhile then being myself after that.
