I just can't understand why so many games would ask you to let more friends join

Recently, I am just tired about playing flash game on facebook. Not because it's not interesting enough, but it's terrible system. Many games would ask you to ask more friends to join game in order to get the reward or solving the mission. Or, you could not get the new item or get a new mission. But I just want to play game quietly and enjoy myself during the game time. I don't want to be a noised guy who keep sending game request to friends. My friends would definitely think that I am a freak. And I don't want to add someone that I don't know. It's just pretty absurd about this system. The game company can still earn the money from a single player. If the game is that fine, they would play anyway. Using the number of friends to lock your level or item is not quit wise way to increase the number of players. And I though this phenomena is also happened on Google+. Oh! This system would decrease the fun of game. I would rather go to buy some PC games than stuck on those flash games. Do you have the same experience as me ? What's about your opinion ?

Yes. That is why I stopped playing games on Facebook. I'd much rather play in peace, the way I do when I play Diablo, or Age of Empires, or Sims. Well, not exactly on peace, since I would keep bothering my siblings, updating them on what's happening, or in some cases like Dota, we're all playing and making such a racket in the house. But you get my idea.
Being stuck on a level just because no one would play with you is discouraging. In the end, they'll only lose the player himself instead of adding more.

So many games would ask you to let more friends to join in order to add traffic to their games. Through these, they can improve the fundamentals of the games and sustain its productivity.

I agree and am tired of having to ask for help to play several of the games on Facebook. The games shouldn't require us to get others to join. Its not fun needing to get parts to play like Farmville.

I really don't play games from the Internet anymore. I have so many invitations to play these and that, but I only disregard all of them. If I wanna play on my computer, I'd rather play something that you need to install, no fancy friends request or anything like that.

I am not sure as well as to why these flash games have this kind of system. I too would like to play my games quietly without bothering other people. I was addicted to Facebook games. Somehow, it is through these games that I was able to connect to other friends. It's a social lubricant, a modern gaming platform where the main theme is for people to stay connected. However, as I play more often, most of my friends are getting tired of these games already. Since they don't play anymore, I got difficulty to move forward with the games. I hope too that this system could be changed. The only reason I could think of as to why they have this system is for them to gain more players, thus, more earnings. As to whether this system works, I don't know. But to us, we simply want to play our games.
