Personally, I find chatting and/or discussing on this site grabs my full attention for hours on end. I also do programming and mathematics for fun, but I'm a bit abnormal. Tips for the average person, why not read a book or watch tv? Or maybe play an online video game? All of those can grab your full attention for several hours on end!

I am on here most of the day off and on. I watch tv, play games on Facebook and visit other sites as well. I enter act with my family and talk on the phone. Some days I go do chores out in the world but for the most part I am home in my room and on my computer. What kind of tips do you need?

Writing would be the one thing that I could really do for hours upon upon on end and rarely if ever get bored. There are just a lot of times where I am going to just keep writing about a lot of things. Where I am going to keep writing over and over again and it is going to be something that I am going to get a lot of enjoyment out of that I will not get bored.
Of course, also if the weather is nice, I can go outside, and just walk around for hours on end, in the fresh air, to be alone with my own thoughts. Granted, that is really not something that is for everyone. There are a lot of times where I find myself just pasting. Still writing when the weather is bad or it is too cold or too hot, that is what I do to relieve the boredom, on the rare times I'm bored.

I'm very interested about what you said because well, you are a writer. I'm not an English writer but I write a lot in my tongue. What do you write about??
I wish I could be writing for hours but that doesn't happen often, usually I have to write the part I came up with and then it's going blank, I don't know what's happening but I prefer to think it's a fase and it's going to go away although it's taking me for 3 years already.

LOL, I wish I could sleep more than 8 hours, sometimes not even that. Sleeping is sooooooo good. I wish I was those kind of people that could just lay down and go into reverie. Like an Elf. (Too much Tolkien).
Comics! I wouldn't actually buy one cause I'm not a fan but I remember I left star wars's comics aside, I should just take a look again, they bored me in the past but then I wasn't in the mood.
Thank you.
Happy MyLotting.

I love to cross stitch. Seeing a strand of floss come alive on some material into a pattern I kind of lose track of time when working on it.
Also love a good book.
I don't read or absorb the way I used to but I still enjoy holding a real book and reading it.

Hi katie: There are so many things I could do for hours if my job or my financial priorities don't matter. One of them is for example participating on Mylot or forums like this, reading the news online, doing social network and reading. And of course enjoying good music and films. These activities are very relaxing to me.
