Here is the photo I promised of my daughter's newly born filly.
Her name is Ciarria. She is 63% cleveland Bay and the rest thoroughbred.
Born on the 17 october.
Absolutely cute. Three black hooves and lower legs and one white. A large white star on her forhead.
Sorry I wont be able to comment on responses until tomorrow.

AWWW! Ciarria is so cute! Foals are so darn cute at this age! I wish I owned a horse right now! I did have one for almost 27 years until he had to be put down 2 summers ago! I will get a new horse someday. Not sure if I want to start out with a foal or another adult! We'll see!

27 is a good age for a horse to live. What kind of horse was he? The thing with startting with a foal is that it takes about three years before you can ride it, then again, the foal/ training stage will be a alot of fun according to my daughter.

My horse Major was a grade. I never knew his breeding. I got him when he was 4 yrs old and had him until he was 31 years old. The last 5 years I had him,his health was not the greatest so I stopped riding Major. He had a heart murmur. He also had cushings and had twice gone through laminitis bouts. Major had a good long life!

She wont live at my house, as it is only a 450sq metre block. But my daughters other horse is agisted very near. It is a property of 30 acrs and the owner lets people keep their horses there for a weekly fee. It is very well run, and a beautiful place. It is onl a 6 minute drive from our home, so is easy to get to daily to feed the horses.

She is soo cute and will grow up to be a beautiful horse. I have always loved horses and always wanted one, but there was no where to keep it, and we couldn't afford it. My friend had horses and I would ride hers. What a beatiful and unsual name. Does it have any special meaning?

I believe the name does have a meaning, which my daughter knows about, but I can't think of it at the moment. I know that she had to have gaelic name, as both her parent shave gaelic names, and for breed horses, the names need to be in the same family.

jennybianca,
Ciarria is really beautiful, I couldn't help noticing her strong legs and the large white star on her forehead.
Unfortunately, we do not have the luxury and space for horses where I am from. The only horses we have are mainly the racing ones at the race course which have races every weekend. The other one would be the polo club which are only featured once a month.
I would really love to see further developments on Ciarria, just feel like her fan now.

Yes, she has very long lwegs and the star on her forehaed is exceptional, so she will be a very good show horse we hope.
Horse are expensive, and like you, I rarely saw horses when yonger.
I have more phots of ciarria, but I am at work at the moment so can't upload them yert.

I saw your comments, thank you very much. At the moment the owner of the horse stud is feeding all the horse. The filly still feeds from it's mother and will do so for 6 months. Then she will be transported to my daughter, Bianca.

As you know mY Office Mnager is Indian and she is married. She came to see my daughters other horse and bought her 7 year old niece with her to see him. At first she asked to sit on the horse, but then changed her mind, as she was wearing Indian dress, and it is not suitable.
