The moment Campbell got hurt I thought of Palmer and now he is there. I'm soooo glad he is out of Cincinnati. He wasn't respected. Now he is free! I hope The Radiers go all the way for Al.

Yes Carson Palmer was not respected in Cincinnati! It is nice to see he is now an Oakland Raider! I hope he does well there! I think Palmer will!

I have never been a Raiders fan. The biggest reason has been to Al Davis! Now that he is gone I hope they "Just win Baby"! I will and am keeping track of the Raiders and all the NFL teams. I am a Packer fan and know what the hell the Packers with Favre! Look at us now! We have Aaron Rodgers and we are only Super Bowl XLV CHamps! Now that Oakland had Carson Palmer maybe he is the key that gets them back to the Super Bowl!

I hope it all works out for the team and the players. Only time will tell how it will turn out.

I think by the end of the season we will know if Casron Palmer is the answer to QB for the Oakland Raiders! I think he will be! He was not respected in Cinny! I think he will work out in Oakland!

As a lifelong Raiders fan, all I can say is that it's better to do with older, proven talent than to waste draft picks on unproven talent. Every once in a while you'll get a Peyton Manning, but most of the time you're getting Ryan Leaf. That's just how it works at that position.
The ball is different. The speed is different. The field is different. You need more arm strength in the pros. More accuracy. More calmness. You need to be a field general and not simply a foot soldier.
Carson has a lot of the intangibles that make up a good NFL quarterback. Hopefully, we might see Palmer revitalize his career in Oakland the same way Rich Gannon did.
He still has what it takes, in my opinion.

I never have been a Raiders fan. I am a Packers fan but I am also an NFL fan. I think Carson Palmer will be in Oakland. He couldn't cut it in Cinny. Hopefully Palmerw ill revitalize Oakland.
It is true not every drafted QB is like a Peyton Manning! Sometimes teams can drafta QB but it takes a few years for them to develop. Aaron Rodgers is an example! Thank goodness that all drafted QB's don't end up like Ryan "Jack@ss" Leaf! He was and is unbelievible! I am also glad the Brett Favre saga is over!
