Hi friends, Dont you feel that animation has become a growing opportunity for youngsters and it has a lot of scope in the upcoming future, well according to me its a good thing because people hardly get jobs which they find interesting too and also which earns them a sufficient amount..When you are interested in some field, you can do much better in that field.. Its slowly growing in my country (india) and it might have already reached heights in other developed countries...

Well, I really don't think that there is any kind of an opportunity for someone in the field on animation unless they are very gifted people. It is a great field for those select people that are gifted, but for the vast majority of people, I don't believe it is something that they are meant to do. I think the better opportunities for young people today are more in service types of industries like medicine and teaching.

Well, that is so very true. Designers - be it in animation or any other field, they are much in demand now. Chennai has some kool places to study and also some great openings though you can quite easily find designers being hired for good money on the internet.
The reason is that designing is not everyone's cup of tea and there are lesser people who have a sense of visualing a concept and transferring them into iamges or animation.

Yes, eshaan, animation is opening doors to many people. It has become a major field of interest these days. Lots of people are attending schools about animation.
I believe though that these are specialization courses. The most known ones to be offering good courses about animation are in the US of A and in Japan. It appears that Korea is not far behind on this endeavor.
