Love at first sight or just an attraction?

hi people, me and my boyfriend had a discussion before about love at first sight.. I ask him if he believe in love at first sight and he said yes, because thats what he felt for me the first time he saw me... but I said maybe it was just an attraction he felt, because I really don't believe in love at first sight, in fact I never felt love at first sight to my boyfriend or to anyone, its more of attraction I felt... So I am asking everyone here, Do you think Love at first sight really do exist or is it just an attraction like what i believed?

Yes exist, because me and my exboyfriend love at first side. We don't started friendship after this first side. We love each other 4 years and then we started friendship. And yes - we both say - this was love at first sight! But now I have new boyfriend better for my ex and we live together... Nice day and say your boyfriend love at first sight exist....

I do believe in love at first sight. Of course part of that is you just didn't felt love when you first saw him or her, you also felt attraction towards that person. Because when we say "love at first sight" it doesn't just happen right there and then. There must be a special attraction and a kind of spark that only the two of you knows.

Yes, definitely. That is one of the chemistry when you feel special attraction and you call it love at first sight.

I personally do not believe in love at first sight. I agree that it is an attraction at first. It does not make sense that as soon as you see someone you feel love. Love is something much deeper and more intense which comes in time.

I do not believe in love at first sight. Well for some I think they are attracted to the outer beauty then goes deeply to love. Love for me has a very broad meaning. It is like loving the whole person. Not just the outside but the entire personality and the like. Well probably your boyfriend might have been stunned by your beauty and charm the first time he saw you and even love you more when you two shared a relationship.

thats right...attraction at first and as you get to know the person, your feelings for that person develops and become stronger which leads to what so called love.

love at first sight is a concept in fairytales and Disney movies, life isn't a Disney film. Life is much more complicated than that. The thing that we feel when we see a person is like an attraction, you don't even know that person yet to be in love with them. But when you spend more time together, the attraction becomes love. There are many relationships that really work well and really don't, that's why we have people who break up, cheat or divorce so love isn't always perfect but we can always try again to find our true love. But if love at first sight did exist, all these issues wouldn't happen but they do so I don't believe in it. But then again it may depend, some people might fall for each each at first sight, my friend fell for her boyfriend and they've been together since primary school.

yes i think so, because i really do believe that its just attraction and then the feelings develop in time and leads to love..well, that's just my opinion.. everyone is entitled to have their own opinion anyway... and its funny that me and my boyfriend had different beliefs just like this topic :)

Although i have not yet found the mate i want to spend the rest of my life with. I also believe in love at first sight. If you are not attracted to a person the moment you lay yours on her, then there is hardly any chance that any love will happen in the future. I have seen many relationships develop in my friend circle where the moment they laid their eyes, they knew that they are in love.

I don't think love at first sight is true. I mean, how could you say you 'love' someone without knowing them first? I think it's pure attraction. You get attracted to the person and after knowing them, over time, you 'fall' in love. I didn't have 'love at first sight' for my partner. I couldn't even remember his face after the first encounter. But now that we've been together for a long time, I now see that he is good looking, even when he looks at his 'worst' he still looks good to me, thus I could definitely say I'm in love. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

Me too. I do not believe in love at first sight. I guess its just an attraction. There's no reason for a person to love someone that easy without knowing what kind of person he/she is attracted to. Love takes time to develop but attraction is just that easy. It could be you're attracted because she's pretty or he's handsome, because he/she is talented or he/she possesses the looks or attitude that you like in a person. I really don't believe in love at first sight but I do believe in attraction even when you see a person at first sight. I always experience this. Haha. In our school, I always used to have a crush on someone then after a few weeks or months, I have no longer crush on him. Its just because I was just attracted and not in love with him and whenever he's out of my sight, I easily forget him. :D anyway, this is my point of view. Happy mylotting. :D

I thought that I believe in love at first sight, but lately, I just thought I am delusional, maybe that was my fantasy on beautiful faces, or it was just an attraction I felt for. I maybe wrong, but I am also confused at the moment. That is why I lost my first girlfriend, until now, I haven't found one for myself yet. Whether love at first sight or not, if you like a person, go for it, don't hesitate.

I didn't believed until I met this guy last year. The first time that I saw him and he talked to me, I already knew it that he was the perfect guy for me. With the time, I talked more with him and I realize that he his even more perfect that what I thought he would be.

Maybe if it is attraction it will just last for a short time but if it is true love or love at first sight the feeling will last forever.

i think it's just an attraction because at first sight we can'y know partner's behavior .. so it's just an attraction

I really belive in love at first sight...That is exactly what I felt when I saw my boyfriend for the first time...I can only say this: It was like my heart wanted to get out of my chest...or like a brick went down on my head...I lost my words and could not think anything else, or sleep, or eat anything for at least a week!!!

If we know the guy from a previous reincarnation then it's love. Our soul is so much wiser than what we think we are when living on the flesh. We might see few things but the soul can see the whole picture so it already reacognizes. Now if meeting the guy for the first time it's the 'flesh talking', it's pure attraction and that can happen.

I think it's definitely possible, because it happened to me. Of course attraction is part of it, but to have feelings for someone is totally different than just being attracted to them. You can have feelings for them, and you physically feel it when you first see them, which is what happened to me. Your heart beats fast, or skips a beat, whatever it is lol. But something definitely happened and I think just saying attraction at first sight, for me implies that it's just thinking their attractive, and not having feelings for them right off the bat, just liking the way they look.

Yes, I think that both actions can happen.
