When I went into our kitchen this morning to make coffee I saw and heard our dog dancing. He took his paws and was moving them around on the floor. It reminded me of tap dancing. I made a joke to my family that he was a morning dog. Then a few minutes later he was in the other room rolling on his back with his paws in the air, and once again it looked like he was dancing. He seemed to be really happy. Maybe he had a good night sleep last night.

i really dont know, but when a dog, start behaving funny like that and running around the house, sometimes with its tongues outtry check the body, it might not be "dancing".....it might be acting due to something sticking to its body, when my dog opened super glue with its teeth and it touched its paws, she was reacting almost the same way, and i was laughing cos no one sent her to play with a glue tube...so try examine ur dog when it behaves funny ALL ALONE!

Definitely happy. Animals can experience and express such pure joy. They live in the moment. We can learn so much from them.
Next time you see him dancing, join in. It'll carry you the whole day.

LOL I love to see dogs dancing around..I tried to teach my daughters dobermans the Hokey Pokey...using the word paws instead of saying hands, feet..they didn't get it but 'danced' around a bit
Your dog sounds like he is having fun and is very comfrotable being part of your family. Aren't dogs special..
