I watched an episode of CSI yesterday. I stopped watching CSI after grissom left. The show just wasn't the same anymore. I like Laurence Fishburne but I just felt like the show was missing something. I actually really enjoyed the show that I watched with Ted Danson. I think I will start watching CSI again. I hope that he will stay on the show for the long run, I seem to like him better than Laurence Fishburne on CSI. Not that Laurence Fishburne is not a good actor, I think that Ted Danson is just better on CSI.

I have always liked all the versions of CSI even though the actors come and go I like watching the story lines the funny thing is I was watching a judge show and this lady drew up some papers by herself and the judge asked her if she learned it from CSI.

I have always watched CSI, and I agree that Ted Danson is an excellent addition to the show. I like the way the writers introduced his character, and also the way his character is growing. He came on as team leader, but he is observant of the team structure, and is working within that structure quite well. His character is different from both Petersen and Fishburne; enough of a difference that you don't get the feeling he is trying to replace them. He is his own character, and that is a good thing. Many shows, (most notably the Law and Order series) have not only survived cast changes, but have grown with each one.
I hope they keep Danson, and he agrees to stay on, the show is terrific with him.

I missed when they introduced Ted Danson's character. I have seen about three or four shows with him now. I really hope they keep him on the show and he agrees to stay on. If he leaves, I will probably stop watching the show again. For now I am happy and want to continue to watch the show.

I haven't watched CSI in awhile either. I like Ted Danson too. He is a good actor. The problem is they always put CSI up against other shows I like to watch better. So I end up watching them instead of CSI. I missed Grissom too. I'll probably try to catch some of the reruns over the summer while my shows are repeats.

I also stopped watching CSI after William Petersen left because the show changed a lot without Grissom. Besides him joining Sarah Sidle and her being the reason for Grissom to leave just didn't fit the whole starting idea of the show. Fishbourne I never watched in CSI because I've never liked the actor himself. Indeed without Grissom something was missing. As to Ted Danson, I haven't heard of him being on CSI but if it's true, I believe he is a much better choice than Fishbourne. I would love to watch him.

I also felt the difference between Laurence Fishburne and Ted Danson - I think that maybe Fishburne character, with his internal struggle against him dark side took away the lividity we used to see on CSI with Grissom. Ted Danson brought back, in a different way - of course, some of the 'fun' we used to have with Grissom's character!

Just like you that I didn't watch every episode LV of CSI after Gill left. But I have seen some of season 11.They were good but not enough like when Gill's there,I don't know why.Now another one will take the place of Fishburne, sometimes,I would think Petersen come back, but in fact it's Danson.Well,I'm not familiar with him,but I'd like to watch season 12.

Ted Danson is a very good change at CSI as I see it. I also missed (and still miss) Grissom. But Danson has this mixture of humor and common sense that is so refreshing. I love the small lines about his phone calls to his wife and what we can imagine from a family moved from a small town probably to big Las Vegas.
