Hi Mylot family,
I can't help it but share another lovely moment with my son, Angelo this morning. I texted my husband to call me as I am on my way to do school visit monitoring and meeting for my clients. My husband called. As I was talking to him, my son Angelo who's supposed to be sleeping went downstairs upon learning that i am on the phone with her dad. He asked permission to talk to me. He greeted me sweetly and asked where am i? i said i am in washington, dc walking towards the bus station to get my ride to school. He was upset that i am walking. He asked me why i did not ride the jeepney (a type of vehicle in the Philippines), i told him that there's no jeepney in the US. Then, he asled about tricycle? I said there's no tricycle too here in DC. He felt so bad for me. He then told me to wait because he will SEND JEEPNEY and/or TRICYCLE so i will have a ride. He further said that he misses me and finally said i love you mom. I was in tears while walking...thanking God for his precious gift to me!
Please share lovely moments with your kids too. Thank you!

Oh of all the wonderful!!!
What a sweet and tender moment. It drew a tear from me too. Kids are like that. They're pure and innocent, which makes them so sweet. So you don't stay with them. Are they in a different state? Its time for a family gathering my friend...
Take leave from office and book your tickets. Your lil boy will be glad

Hi Mr. Pearl,
Thank you for responding on here. I just came from a 21-day vacation. I went home to the Philippines and had a great time with my family. How i miss those time being with them. I am miles away from them. I am right now in Washington, Dc while they are in the Philippines. How I wish i can go home this holiday season and spend Christmas with them. I know my son will be happy to have me there.

Hi Neil,
Thank you. Yes, he is really smart, funny and sweet. He's already 10 years old but is sooo consistent in making me feel extra special! That's true i really miss him so much. Both my sons have special needs. They have autism. But my youngest was already in the mainstream program but my eldest is still in SpEd. How's your son too?!

Hello Ms. Francisco,
Wow! your son is so adorable. By the way, how old is he? I'm sure upon hearing his voice you are happy already and you must miss him so much but his words is good enough to cheer you more. He cares for you so much and for sure he misses you a lot. I can just imagine how happy you are because me, when I am away just for a while and my son would tell me he misses me, it makes me feel good already. What more in your situation when you are so far from each other. Yes, children are gifts to us!
Take care always and have fun mylotting... red_amethyst

Hi Redamethyst,
My son is 10 years old. He was diagnosed with autism when he was about 4 years old. Now he is in the mainstream program - regular school and in grade 3. I am so proud of him. He's progressing so fast. I have two sons they're both diagnosed with autism. Angelo is the youngest. My eldest is super sweet too but had communication delay. But he's trying his best to speak and talk to me - their voice always melt my heart but always give me strength to live life happily.

Well, we are getting ready to go to the pumpkin patch right now to take our kids because it is something that they've been looking forward to all week. They always try to butter me up when there is something that they want to do.
However, the sweetest thing that I can think of with my kids recently actually has to do with my daughter. I took her to a haunted house last night and it was the first time that she's ever been to one. She was telling her brother about it after we got home and she kept telling him that she kept me from getting killed going through it. I really thought it was cute.

Thanks for sharing your bonding moments with your kid. How i wish next year my kids will also experience halloween here in the United States--for a change. I know they will have one too in the Philippines but there's a big difference on how you have it here.

Yes, children could really be adorable! Their innocence could just make us laugh. It's just sad though, that you have to be there in the US while he's here in the Philippines.
I am sure he misses you so much, as evidenced by his wanting to speak to you too at the phone.

Hi Simplyd,
Yes, we talked everyday and there's always something that will truly knocked me out in the course of our conversation. I always look forward to talking to my kids and hubby. Thanks for the appreciation of my sharing and understanding the feeling we have while we are away from each other. It's hard but my hubby and kids are trying their best to make our situation lighter.
