I'm excited! I'm going home for a vacation. I love going back to the Philippines. To see my family and friends. To eat Filipino food. To hear everyone around me talking my dialect. Yehey! You must be thinking that I haven't been back in a long time. But I have. In fact I went home two years ago. In the six years that I have been here, I have gone home every other year. Twice while I was 7 months pregnant. Yes that's right. I just love going home. My own family is here but but I still call Philippines home. My husband always has to remind me that home is now here in Australia. :) Anyone feel the same?

Welcome back and may you enjoy your vacation here. Yes, it is hard to forget your root and the place where you have your growing up years. To speak again the dialect is wonderful and hope you haven't forgotten to speak it. Again welcome home!

Ah Ah Ah! I haven't been in other country I can't feel the same as you. For now, I love to go to other countries and enjoy working there. But I don't how am going to fulfill that. It's true that the Philippines is very rich in nature, white sand beaches, tropical fruits, good climate, and hospitable Filipinos. But are gonna live with it if your stomach is always hungry. I don't think so.

I can relate with you, because that's how my sister-in-law married to an immigrant Filipino in Australia felt. She has been there for more than 6 years and they just come home last February. Before they come home, she kept emailing me of what foods they would like to eat and asking me where to go. She was so homesick indeed. And when they finally come, they were really so happy. She cried when they left for Australia again. I think that's a natural feeling of a Filipino in other countries. They still feel that it's the Philippines that they can truly call , home.

Welcome home mimm, it is great that you find a time to go back and have your vacation here, this means another income will contribute to our country. And sure that your family here are excited too to see you and your family here in the Philippines. Don't forget to stop by at MOA and have your shopping there. Have a nice return!
